Love this forum.

Traded 2022 Overland for 2024 Mojave X and I am flat amazed the way the truck rides and handles.

Want to go to 35’s but increase in weight has me questioning if they compromise suspension or ride?

76 y/o grandpa that drives mostly highway but like to take grandkids and dog on mild jeep trails.

Have read every post on the 35’s and they say or imply they will increase ride quaility but on the fence.

I have a 2023 Mojave and love it I put 35s on mine no lift needed but as long as you keep the air at 33-34 the ride is smoother and quieter the 38-40 psi 33s you will see some rubbing on the splatter guards but a small trim gets rid of that and the ride is wonderful. I have taken it up to Colorado and hit several parked and Death Valley/ Panama t Valley last year absolutely no problem. ENJOY!

Drive it and enjoy it the way it came from the showroom.

Why invest in new tires and possibly wheels when you don't even know the capability of what you have yet? Tires are not cheap. You will also never recoup the cost of trying to re-sell the take-offs. You paid for them in your purchase.

Enjoy it, your dog and grandkids will not know the difference between 33" to 35", but your wallet will.

I have BFG KO2. 315's load range E. I wasn't expecting a better ride, but it is night and day better! The slight wander or looseness is gone. My Mojave came with the falcon mud terrains. 35's are perfect with no lift.

I planned to keep the stock 33s until they wore out then go with 35s. However, my dog and my wife don’t want it to be any higher.
Doing the same. I got some removable steps for my wife to be able to get in, and out, of the Gladiator.

I’ve been wondering the same thing since getting my Mojave in July. I think I’ll ride the stock setup until I need to replace at least 1 tire, and make my decision then. Haven’t had a chance to do any trails yet, but I have played around on some dirt roads. She finally got to see a little mud on those dirt roads after a storm last week.

I ran my 2021 Mojave stock until the 33" Falken ATWs ere ready for replacement and I did the AEV Mojave specific spacer lift with the shock relocation brackets and went to a 35"x12.50" Falken ATW in load range E because I am beginning to carry more weight for overlanding. My ride is as good if not better than stock and the Jeep does much better off pavement. I have an '02 TJ on 40's to handle the rock crawling.

I went with 35x11.5x17's on my Mojave and for me it is perfect. Great ride on road and off road.

If you shop around you can find a metric 35" tire that weighs close to the factory Falkens metric 33s. These new tires might wear faster and not have the same features as a heavier AT. Example: Goodyear Wrangler Territory in 315/70 R17 weigh 55lbs. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W in 285/70 R17 weigh 54lbs. I'm doing my tire homework before I get tires on my Mojave myself. I don't mind the factory Wildpeaks. Once they are worn I want a set in the barn ready to go on. Already have a spare set of Mojave wheels(Marketplace find for $100)

Welcome to the cool kids club aka Mojave life

I threw my 37x13.5r17s on before my lift. You're good to go to slap those 35s on now. Just get a Tazr to adjust your tire size.

Mickey Thompson makes a narrow 35” tire that is about same weight as factory, lot of guys here posting it, I’m thinking of narrow tires and Falken makes a skinny tire same tread as factory ones comes in ten ponds less weight per tire, that might be something to consider….Jack
PS: Mojave X from factory is pretty damn capable, perhaps throw a winch in that steel bumper for a lot less then new tires and run them to 45,000 when they get loud!

Same. My wife loves the steps I put on, and now she has a new Cherokee TrailHawk, so I’m not getting in the garage with my Mojave 🤣. I just topped 40,000 miles and I am thinking about 35’s….

Or a new Mojave X. Tough decision
