Got an e-mail back from them. It does work with the diesel.

Unfortunately, when you remove the torque management is going to be impact on reliability. Especially the diesel with high torque banging through the gears. That’s one of the things about the Derringer I like is that it pulls power between shifts momentarily.

Great post guys.

Funny enough I went out to play with my new No Limitz Jeep and the damn Change your oil shit went off. So I had to go pick up oil and knock that out.

SO......................the results, interesting observations. Really the only thing I was really curious about the the removal of the torque management. Being I have had several GM platforms that I have tuned and torque management was always a point of tuning with impressive results.

So taking off full throttle in either Drive or M1, it wants to blow the tires off. I feels unleashed or I'm actually all of the power I paid for. Also, it feels like I need to use less throttle to get where I want to be instead of having to hammer on it all the time. Finally, its shifting through the gears quicker around town.

GM's torque Management (TM), works across several modules; the PCM, TCM and ABS. So if Jeep's TM program is similar to GM, explains my observations. I only made a couple hot laps around town. I have a bunch of driving today, so I will report back if there is any new reportable events. I also used the Off Road pages to watch the Trans Temps to make sure nothing was off there; all normal, maybe slightly cooler, nothing above 197*

It will be interesting to hear what the Diesel guys/gals report. Do I think its worth, yeah......just for the anti-theft aspect alone.......no TM now.....yes more gooder LOL

Follow up from today, roughly 100 miles with a 50/50 split on highway and local roads.

Keep in mind '23 JTM on a AEV lift, 37x13.5s still on OEM 4.10s. With that said I saw 8th gear a shit ton more and this typically would yield 13-13.6 mpg........today was 16.1 on avg. Again, way less throttle required for my normal demanding needs. Overall, it's a home run for me.

At this point I hope someone else's can chime in with their results and it's remotely near what I'm experiencing......if so, this might be the mod to parallel and or addition to the TAZR alone.

Cheers!

I have some garage time planned for Saturday. I'll make it a plan to install mine. I can already power brake it with 40s but should be interesting.
