Hi there,
I have an overland gladiator diesel that has 4800km with 35X12X17, a 2 inch hitch and a fox steering damper, and for 1000km I have a noise that I can't find in the right rear which manifests itself like on the roads bumpy and less than 45km / h if anyone has an idea where it can come from I'm interested.
Knowing that I have already checked everything, all the bolts are tight, the spare wheel is well fixed
thank you for your feedback

Tough to tell from the video, but have you checked your rear sway bar links? A bad sway bar link will rattle like crazy.

That is a really 'light' sounding noise. Check things like e-brake cables or rear diff vent line cap for rattling.

Any sign of oil leakage around the shock shaft? A blown shock can rattle and bang pretty good.

Take a rubber mallet and start to beat on stuff under the Jeep. Could be a heat shield or muffler related.

thank you for your answer I will look at the differential, what is strange is that the noise is that when driving at a standstill, it is impossible to reproduce the noise

Have you beat on the exhaust? I’ve had a ton of rattling heat shields over the years. Or maybe adjacent shielding on the body?

I hadn't thought of the shielding, the exhaust there is no problem, thanks for the lead

I know the exhaust doesn’t exit on the right rear but rattles can be sneaky little SOBs and sometimes fool the ear.

Does the sound vary with light brake pedal application?

If you absolutely can't find it I'd take it to the dealer since it's still under warranty.

Did you ever find the culprit? I have the same rattle and it sound like it is coming from the right rear as well. My wife says she can feel it at her feet on the passenger side, but I cannot find the source.
