With a lift, 37 inch tires, and 4.88 gears is the dealer even going to think about a warranty claim?
I have 37” tires and it was no issue with my claim.
Dont even mention it. All 6 Jeep dealers here in Vegas have brand new jeeps sitting in their showrooms with 37” tires that they sell. If you’re the least bit worries throw your stock tires back on. If the dealer fives you shit, go to another dealer.

If it was the rear diff there would be a clunk going back and forth from R to D. No clunk ever going to D. And it only does it once in the morning going to R. The symptoms and the TSB about the D clutch.
The clunk I posted the video of does it going back and forth from R to D to R to D. And at slow speeds in parking lots and things, I can do it without fail when getting on and off the throttle. Clunk city.

Possibly some answers on the R only when cols clunk. Spoke with a friendly and knowledgeable dealership service department. The clunk can be cured with a re-flash of the trans. It would take a long time for the clunk to actually dammage the trans. I will keep you posted as to my results as I will be getting this done.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to un marry and remove the stupid Tazer and do I need to plug the plugs back in and them re do the Tazer when its all done. The Tazer an I might part ways as there is no customer support from them.

Since you're taking it in for a computer flash, you really should unmarry it and remove it. The cables do need reconnected to the security gateway. This is where the extension cable set makes life much easier.

Any changes made with the Tazer will be removed and have to be done again. I would recommend Jscan to make the changes to the computer, then marry the Tazer and use the live features.

Going to order the Tazer extension cable. Still does the clunk only in reverse and only when cold and only one time. Checked tr rear diff oil and it's still perfect. What about the trans oil level ? This click/ thunk thing has got me stressed even though the dealer said it would take quite a long time for it to hurt the trans.
I find the symptoms odd as a one time when cold thing. I just checked the oil level in the trans using the proper instructions, warm, not hot, in park, engine running . It looks to be at least 1/2 inch low on fluid. Could that cause the clunk???

I will be adding the correct fluid as stated on the trans sticker and report back. The fluid is not dark at all.

FYI, I did not have to marry my Tazer to use the live functions such as start/stop recall, kill3honk, and winch mode RPMs.

2024 JTR with X package. I have had a slight, barely noticeable clunk since day 1, going to any gear. With the radio on, I can't hear it. With normal cabin noise at say 50MPH and above I don't notice it. Sitting in the driveway with the windows down, when I shift into any gear I hear it. It also occurs if I am coasting or if I just let off the gas and then hit the gas again. Is it normal? Who knows? I never noticed any clunking at all on my 2023 JTR auto trans. Next time I am at the dealer, I will mention it. No codes, no historic codes.

After the lessons learned in this post, I noticed that all of the rough shifts while driving always happen between 3rd and 4th gear so the TSB certainly seems to be on to something.

But no one has come up with a cure. No one has said that they had it fixed.

Spoke with my Jeep dealer service guy again. He has seen it. They have done a re program on the trans and it s 50-50 shot of making a difference. There really is no cure and it really doesn't kill the trans. It's just what they do. I am done trying to fix it.

I hope it works for you. It worked great on my Canyon. Also 3.6l/8AT. My Jeep dealership wouldn’t even try.

I finally gave up and started putting it in drive before reverse when it’s cold and has a high idle.

Ignore the nay sayers on here. They’re like autistic parrots with their doom and gloom. I had someone recently tell me that the slight coolant leak I have from my oil cooler is definitely a blown head gasket. 😂

You sound like the kind of guy who doesn't rotate his capacitor bearings when you change your canbus bushings.
