This 1981 Jeep Scrambler has been in my family since New.
My brother bought it new and kept it till 1984. Thats when it became mine. 17 years old and my first vehicle. Talk about an awesome day. I kept it for 30 years. Put tons of $$ into it.. Still has the original engine. Totally redone. 2014 I passed it on to my nephew. Just got my 2021 Gladiator in September. No plans of selling it anytime soon.

1952 Willy's Pickup.
The reason I couldn't wait for the Gladiator to finally come true. Special ordered base to have as bare bones as I could order to try and get the feelings the Willy's brung.

Love my new truck but dream of the Willy's every night.

This was my ‘83 Scrambler, bought stock except wheels and tires. I built it sprung over, Added full length hard top, 35 x 13.50 MT’s, had factory AC. Loved it and only sold when we had our first munchkin. Wife said she would never be allowed to ride in the Scrambler or my Honda CRX/Integrafied Short shifted SI. That’s when I got into XJ’s ... 4 door family wagon?

My first Jeep (the red one). Got it when I was 17 around 1989 or so. My buddy with the white Jeep is now driving a JK and his son a TJ. Since the CJ5, I’ve had a XJ, TJ, JK (now my daughters), WK and now the JT.

My 78 CJ7. She had a built 360 with a TH400, D20 with Detroit locker and solid axle 4.10, power steering and brakes. Everything worked, even the windshield wiper washer. Sold it soon after I bought my ‘13 Rubicon in ‘17. That Jeep got more thumbs up and waves than anything I’ve ever owned. I miss her.

My 1982 Scrambler, base model nothing, not even A?C , loved her for nine years when I needed more tow capacity, she towed the pop up and then a 1985 16' Sunline all over the east coast with kids, ended up putting bigger tires on 1965 Cj5 Renegade aluminum slots , that made her much more road friendly.....Jack

This was my 02 TJ....sold it a little while back to go toward the Gladiator. I pulled it to most of our wheeling spots. She had 52,000 miles on it when sold. Bought new in December ‘01.

Bought this TJ new in 1999, and had to sell it 19 years later with just under 100K. Will finally be replacing it with a JT this summer.

I am working on this one now. I have a set of Dana 44s going in it. Rebuilding a 225 dauntless to run in it with a T18 4 speed and a Dana 20 transfer case. 33” tires and old school slots. I still have a lot to do.

Started with a 55 M38a1 in high school (1975). Since then I’ve lost count of the military surplus Jeeps. More than a dozen I’m sure. Buy them-fix them- lose money on them. Just Empty Every Pocket, right???
The ones I really miss? My ‘65 Wagoneer, the ‘67 M715 and the ‘60 Willys pickup.
Lost all my old pictures in a house fire, but the memories are all there.

I learned to drive stick on an 82 CJ-8 with a T18. I found 1st and Reverse quite a bit while hunting for 3rd!
