Good morning all just trying to see if I can get different opinions on two Lift Kits I’ve been thinking about, the first one is the 2” mopar lift because I was going to have the dealer install it but they want CRAZY MONEY for the kit and to install it, the second one was gonna be a BDS 3 inch, for this one I just have to make sure I find a very reputable shop to install it on my 2021 gladiator, I had the BDS on my JK and I never had any problems so that’s why I’m thinking of maybe swinging towards that kit but anyways if you guys will kindly, let me know what you think that would be great. You guys have a good day. Hope to hear from you guys

I can't speak on the BDS lift, but I have a 2" Mopar lift on mine. Bought it with it already installed. For me, and my driving style as a daily driver, I am very happy with this lift. It rides great on the road with zero issues and we have taken long road trips without issue. It rides very much like stock.
Bonus: this lift, on a Sport, will net you more like 3+".

What's your use case? How big a tire do you plan on running?

Thank you I appreciate that. I was hoping to have somebody with the exact same truck reply. I know the dealer wants more money, but I just feel like it gives me a piece of mind that the dealer installed it and if I have any issues, I can always go back to the dealer Versus a shop that might give you a hard time, again thank you so much for that reply

i’m gonna leave the factory tires on they’re like 32 inches for a while. Just do a leveling kit right now to get rid of that rake and then when I do put the Lift Kit on I’m gonna be running 35, I just wanna make sure I picked the right Lift Kit and not regret it

If your ultimate goal is 35's and you don't plan to really wheel it hard, look at the 2.5" clayton ride right, or even their 1.5" if you will really only be trail riding.

the 3.5" kit netted me almost 5 inches in the front, plenty of room for 37s.

Do you plan on going off-road and crawling over rocks, maybe going to MOAB... the trails you run will "tell you" what upgrades you will need. As for the leveling kit... that money might be better saved for what you will upgrade to. IMHO.

If you are thinking about hanging onto the truck for a while, Metalcloak actually has serviceable bushings so you don’t have to replace entire arms. They also have been through FMVSS certification. Look at their website for a deeper dive.
I went with the 2.5GC with red shocks and several additional components.

I think the Clayton Ride Right lifts are one of the best values in the ~$1,500 price range.

I've had a 2.5" Clayton Ride Right on mine for 68k miles now and it's been great.

I added Bilstein 5100 shocks. They're farily cheap and I like how they ride.

the second one was gonna be a BDS 3 inch
If you go with the BDS make sure you get correction pads like these. https://rockkrawler.com/rock-krawler-front-spring-correction-pad-for-jeep-wrangler-jl-gladiator-jt/ and https://rockkrawler.com/rock-krawle...olator-for-jeep-wrangler-jl-and-gladiator-jt/ I got both and it straightend out the springs great.
I’m running the BDS springs with billstien 5100s Lots of spring bow in the front with out the correction pads. Also coil bind with a heavier bumper and a winch while off-road with the sway bar disconnected.
If I were to do it again I’d go with something else.
