Totally understand the frustration, but this is a very common warranty practice across the industry. If your buddy purchased the lights for you, that proof of purchase is how we can verify the product came directly from an authorized seller and isn’t one of the many counterfeit or gray-market versions floating around. We’ve seen a huge increase in knockoffs lately — in fact, we just won a pretty major IP dispute against a company copying our Vector Grille design. That’s exactly why we require receipts: to protect genuine customers and make sure they’re getting the real deal (and the full support that comes with it).

If your friend still has the order confirmation or invoice, that’s all we’d need to get the warranty rolling. Totally get that it feels like a hassle, but it’s the best way to make sure we’re helping the right customers and keeping the fakes off the road.
I own a business so I totally understand wanting to have some proof but in a case like this where a ton of bad product was pushed out to the market I think there should be some type of easier process for a warranty return on one light. If it was a big sham to try and take you for all of the money in the world I would likely ask for both lights or demand a refund on said fake item. I need one light to get me through the rest of my lease without embarrassing my sister telling her that her gift sucked.

Here is a pic of the inside of the taillight that went bad with a date stamp. Just so you can see I am not making these in my garage trying to rip off Oracle one light at a time.

I would not recommend these tail lights. Passenger side was replaced due to led strip coming loose. Driver side was replaced due to brake light not working. Now, yesterday passenger tail light just completely stopped working. Oracle will definitely stand behind their product and replace them. It is just not worth having something that you constantly have to check to make sure it’s working and to keep replacing them. It is just not a quality item.

They are sick looking. I would absolutely love to buy a set but not with current issues (or for an outstanding warranty). I don't want the hassle of needing to swap out the lights for a new set every 10-12 months. I am not embellishing when I say that I followed two gladdys into the city on two separate mornings and in both cases their lights were not working properly.

I don’t like having to do exhaustive research before buying something as mundane as a GD tail light. A durable good? Yes. Due diligence. But a tail light? I bought these last week and now I see this thread. SMDH. I design products/things for a living. I am disgusted with the lack of quality and engineering found in most “things” today.

I'm so glad I stuck with the OE LED lights and didn't fall for these.

Just noticed my right taillight is INOP minus the little marker light. Warranty time I guess @ORACLElights @ORACLE Terry

No running lights, brake, turn signal or hazards on the rear passenger side. What is the corrective action at this time. This was from the first batch of smoked.

I don't want to be a forum nag, but zero acknowledgement to my email to customer support after 2 weeks is kinda lame.

I guess I could buy another set from the competition and flame y'all....... but I'm trying to be reasonable. If there is no response and tracking number by the end of the week......well you actions will reap said benefits. Not a threat......just a promise. As a retired combat veteran my loyalties go as far as the money I spend and response I receive.......if y'all don't care.......well neither do I and will make it known.

Look at the original date of my inquiry!
