So I hated the stock non LED tailights from the start when my JT was bone stock and I was pretty set on buying the oracle lights when they are finally released but I've been thinking of how they look with modifications. I think they would look great on a stock gladiator but I have 3 things that I feel would make the regular lights look more pleasing with the rest of the truck. I have a magnum rear bumper which is a lot more meaty than the stock bumper in width. I have a Hooke bed cargo rack with rotopax storage containers that stick out in width and lastly the 13.5 wide tires on my -12mm offset 4.5 back spacing. I feel like with all that extra width the stock tailights look ok because it doesn't look like they are the only thing sticking out. It's hard to say without actually seeing it. Has anyone else thought about this? I'm really a fan of the blackout led ones on Amazon and ebay. I had some on my JL and they were pretty good.

Be very weary of Oracle's return policy. If you install your lights and have an issue, they will not accept them back for a full refund. I won't go into detail, but basically they did me a favor and charged me a 15% restock fee for returning taillights that didn't work on my vehicle but magically worked for them. They refused a full refund because they'd been installed, even though they didn't work properly in my vehicle.

I had the exact same negative experience with them also.

I’m running the CjPonyparts led tail lights on mine for a few months now and no issues whatsoever. Complete plug and play, no programming required. I highly recommend these! And the turn signals are sequential too which is a nice touch

Half of the reason I'm buying Oracle lights is that do not stick out. It's visually a better look (IMO) and I don't have to worry about blowing it out on the trail. I've had some small trees get very close to popping the tail light out even with a JCR full wrap around rear bumper.

Plus I have the Oracle LED headlights and fog lights and am very pleased with the product.

That was the whole point of my thread. I feel the oracle ones are visually better stock but the stock lights dont look bad with wide tires and extras. Just my opinion

So if you like the look of the stock taillights with the modifications you have made to your truck why would you buy the oracles?

Are you concerned about the stock ones getting hit offroad?

If you just want LEDs that look stock because you like the way they look with the mods on your truck then I think you just answered your own question, get the cheapo's.

My truck has a rack and beefy rear bumper but I still hate the look the of the stock taillights hanging off the rear, plus trail damage risk, plus they aren't LED. For me, the answer is obvious and that's why I preordered the Oracles.

I'm learning quickly. I had a bad experience with 2 light companies already. Now sticking with LED bulbs and done with it. I do have these flush mount on order so hopefully they do work. It seems as though the auto lighting companies have got too big for their own good and could care less about customers. For example Headlight revolution and retrofit source takes a week to answer any emails and don't even answer them correctly. They don't give a rats ass. lol

Absolute no brainer for me. True plug and play, no issues, great visibility, look great and sequential turn signal. Look mean!
