I have only ever given a $500 deposit on any car at different dealerships and even different brands over the last 20 years. The deposit amount is by dealerships choice and changes due to your relationship with them and the area you are in. (Aka what are others doing). They always state that they are non refundable but if your vehicle is easy to sell in the configuration you ordered; you could still get the money back.I went to a dealership to discuss ordering a Gladiator. They told me they require $1,500 non refundable to place the order. Is that a normal charge? What are you guys seeing?
Thanks!
Mike
