My plan is to run 37's with the 2" MOPAR lift on my soon to have Diesel Rubicon JT. Currently I have a 2020 gasser with 3:73's turning 35" BFG All terrains. I really don't feel a great loss of power except when I'm pulling my bass boat long distances and hit some big climbs. As mentioned the new rig will be a diesel, should I order it with the 4:10's? Some of my road trips will be major highway runs and I'm afraid I'd be screaming rpm's with the 4;10's at 70 mph towing speeds.. Please correct me if I'm wrong..

The 37” tire roll out will offset the gear change from 3.73 to 4.10. Check
Tiresize.com and you can run different scenarios.

Your thread title is flawed, diesels only come in one gear ratio.
They were offering the diesel only in both ratios earlier, did they stop?

Appears 4:10 IS NOT an option. If I build a gladiator it shows 3:73 as included and 4:10 optional, clicking 4:10 switches the diesel for the 3.6 gasser. Guess that solves my issue 3:73's it is..

When you factor in the added power and where the torque band is with the diesel vs the 3.6, you'll find that you likely wont need the added mechanical advantage of the shorter gears. The taller 3.73s will keep you at a lower RPM on the highway. This is why many of us put up with all the modern diesel emission nightmare risks.

The 3.0 makes roughly 325ft-lb tq at 1,000 rpm and hits max tq at 440ft-lbs tq around 1400rpm
The 3.6 makes roughly 125ft-lb tq at 1,000rpm and hits max tq at 260 ft-lbs at around 4500rpm

I'm comparing tq instead of hp since torque is typically more relevant for wrangler applications

I have a 2021 rubicon diesel as well. I plan to change the stock tires to 35’s. So it seems that re gearing is not neccesary right?

I have to admit they look very very good. I did feel it a little bit heavier but it still rocks the 8th gear at 55mph with no issues. I took it to the dunes and it performs better as well ?.
