Very common problem with the JL's and JT's. 2018, through current year. I don't believe that the factory has a absolute fix for it. Some have been repaired more that once, and yet it continues. Another issue is, many of the Dealers are refusing to take care of it under warranty. Most of them don't have a Body/Paint shop.

Go to a different dealer ASAP. Start a new claim with Jeep, it took me a year and a half and two dealers, but finally got all my parts in and my repair date set for Oct 25th.

update on mine…they still have my parts but moved the repairs to Nov 25th, now they giving me a rental rig for the two weeks their estimating it will take.

Watching. Mine has it on the hood edge, too. I have not taken it to the dealership yet, but will be doing so very soon.

Hopefully you'll get this squared away. I have a pretty good dealership, so my expectation is that they will take care of it with minimal hassle.

Took mine to the dealership last week. No problem. They are taking care of me. Had a paper stack of claims a couple inches thick.

Yep, I dropped by the dealership last week and had no problems. Parts are on order. Hood, 4 doors, hinges and tailgate, only problem is that rear doors "may" be on back order. Have not heard anything back but will be contacted when the parts show up.

Do you have the micro bubbles or the corrosion? Mine is the micro bubbles. Said that’s not covered, I messaged jeep cares. They asked when I was last at dealership I responded and haven’t heard back.

I have the corrosion. leaching out from the hinges on the doors and the seam on the hood and tailgate.

Just noticed these two ares on my hood. And the weather stripping on the windshield is deteriorating.
Guess I should take it in?

Gladiator heads in Monday Nov. 18th to get new doors, hinges , hood and tailgate. Took about 2 weeks for the parts to show up. Estimated time in the shop is 1-1/2 to 2 weeks.
Just hoping the paint matches so the doors do not stand out. And that the corrosion does not come back!

So they told me I’m poop out of luck. I’m glad they are taking care of everyone else. @JeepCares looks like I’ll be driving a gladiator around with the paint bubbling off. I do have corrosion on passenger side hinges and my hood hinges. Between the engine replacement and now my paint bubbling off this has been the worst vehicle ever owned. I’ve only ever owned jeep wranglers. 1997,2006,2013 and now those POS. Looks like I’ll be going to the Toyota side after this truck.
