Really? I didn't think you were supposed to belittle other members of this Gladiator forum. It is too bad that you are having a bad day. I hope things get better for you!
Please turn me into a moderator because I’m shocked that you said that to a cancer patient.

Ya, if I had an anus attached to my forehead…and someone pointed out the stupid way I parked, I wouldn’t fall back on my anus/forehead excuse…I’d apologize and sure as hell try to not dO It again.

This is just a selfish turd of a person who likely blames everyone else for their lot in life, cancer or not.

Relax John. She said she was a "Cancer Survivor", not a "Cancer Patient" and if you read my post, I was very polite to her and even told her I was sorry that she had been ill. I was very kind and asked her if she could please not park that close again. She then became nasty with me. Otherwise, I would of just said thanks and left. She provoked the situation so I reacted. I have some health issues as well at my age, however I don't use that as a crutch to act nasty to others. End of story.

I mean, if you don't see how you provoked her in the first place, then I'm confused. Not that it justfies how she responded, but you started it and she finished it. I don't see why you needed to confront her in the first place over what was really a non-issue. Some of the replies in this thread showed more legitimate issues than yours.

Worth posting for a few giggles? Sure. Worth starting an argument over? Debatable.

I guess I am just supposed to let others infringe on me or my property without saying anything. Nope! As far as starting an argument, hmmm, I don't think I was the one that asked a member "WTH is wrong with you", for their response that I may not of agreed with.

....that's not remotely what happened. You parked way to one side, so did she. Neither vehicle was damaged (or close to it) and everyone was okay. You took that opportunity to start an argument with her, whether that was your intent or not, and she snapped back. Could've just moved on instead. Looks to me like you were hoping for a reaction. It was passive-aggressive. Sometimes it doesn't matter how right you are...

If she dinged your door or clipped your bumper corner, different story then. But you said none of that happened?

In the end you're free to your opinions. If you feel her parking too close for your liking was an encroachment on your property and your freedoms, so be it. My opinion to that statement is that you're nuts.

At work it is the norm we park to where drivers doors don’t meet and we leave alot of the room on the drivers side and park on the lines on the non drivers side just inches apart. it actually prevents doors dings since most people single drive.. there are many times when the person next to me and i are parked passenger side to passenger slide about 6 inches apart but lots of driver door room. it works fine. we just pull out carefully.

What if someone need to get in the other side? It might work at work, but out in the wild, you don't know who has a child or who has someone who is elderly and needs assistance on that side (if it's not their car, they might not have a handicapped placard). Having kids, it's annoying. I park far enough away to where my older kid has no chance of dinging anyone's door, and to where I can help my much younger child in and out of the toddler seat, which requires the full range of motion on the door. I don't think I would have approached the lady, unless I really couldn't get in/out. But I have had instances where that has occured. You never know who has who or what with them. It's easier to just leave some room. Don't park over the line if possible, and if it isn't, leave a berth wide enough for someone to open their doors.

totally agree on those points. i have a handicap placard but many times those spots are full and so i park as close to doors as possible in a normal spot. not elderly ( in my 50s) but i have muscular dystrophy so it can be tiring to walk. that is why i love cars. they offer a unique freedom….love jeeps for that

Yeah, I get it. Doesn’t really matter where you park, they’ll find you.
How unfortunate that your headlight doesn’t work anymore…?
