Check with Benny @AllMoparParts.com If anyone knows it, has it or can find it...Benny is your man!
THANK YOU. I was looking at my harness last night and comparing it to all the pics I've seen online and I'm starting to think mine is wired backwards, if that makes sense. I have all the same pins as required, they are just on the opposite side when comparing it based on the locking clip position.

Hi Debra,
When looking at the side with the pins we would want to compare that with left side connector shown below listed as the mating side

You're very welcome. As a prerequisite, unplug your door harness at the bottom A pillar and see if you have wires 15 & 16, picture as shown. If you do, then it should be all plug and play, just like mine.

About to attempt this mod but want to verify my vehicle is setup for it first. I think I’m comparing the diagram to my connectors properly, and if so, I do not have PINs 15 and 16, right?

You do have pins 15/16. It also appears you have a bent pin you would want to address. I will send you a code you can use for our kit.

Thanks,
- Benny

Thanks for confirming, Benny! Got the code and ordered the parts 💪🏻.
UPDATE: I put on the driver’s side door handle and besides the outer panel being sort of a pain to get off, everything went smoothly. Now I‘m at a complete loss on how to get the cables unplugged from under the dash in order to plug up the scanner. I have an Overland edition and apparently there is something in the way that makes it more difficult to get to the plugs(?). I’ve tried everything I can think of to get them out and I cannot do it. Did not expect to get hung up on what should be the easiest part of this install!

Do you mean there is something occupying the OBD port? If you can send pics maybe it will help.

It was these little SoBs, but I finally got them out with some needlenose channel locks. Had to remove the panel under the steering wheel to make more room though, and even then it was a tight squeeze.

Job is complete though! Both handles are now on and passive entry has been enabled in the settings. Props to the OP who started this thread. I followed everything he outlined and it worked great.

Side note: Anyone else who attempts this, make sure your windows go all the way down before you completely put the door back together. I had a wire in the way of the second door and didn’t realize the window was catching until I had it all together. **facepalm**

I just purchased a 2025 nighthawk. Looking to do this with my next check. Are most people going to the dealer to program or using this Jscan thing ?

I contacted my local dealer before doing the install and they said they’d enable the setting for the low price of one hour of labor ($200!).

I had no experience with the Jscan app and enabled it myself for $20.99 after purchasing my VIN on the app. You have to buy an ODM scanner and cable, but those can be returned if you don’t plan on using them in the future. That’s what I did, ha.

Unless it is packaged routine service like an oil change, most dealerships have a 1 hour minimum shop labor charge. What is maybe 10 minutes of real work, they have probably 3 people like the service writer, porter and the dealership tech touching your vehicle and processing the work order in addition to covering their facility overhead.

It adds up, that is why it is way cheaper to learn and do it yourself.
