What are you looking for? I got the power back window that retracts all the way down for an amazing open air experience.

The OP is trying to figure out if there has been a change to how the rear window is 'sealed' to the hard top. Specifically, is there some type of gasket around the perimeter of the window?

Not to get too off topic, but I'd like to see a picture of this power retracting rear window that you have.

Mine is a January 2023 build. What are you looking for exactly?
A picture of the rear window from the outside, close up, with emphasis on the perimeter. We are looking for a gasket.

I don't have a 2023 BUT... I did auto glass back in the day. I obviously don't know for certain that this is the case but if a glass guy that doesn't care too much were to R&R that back glass with say an extractor (which would be the easiest route) and make a bunch of scratches in that rear aperture, throwing some universal moulding on it to hide the mistakes would not be completely unheard of... shady but sadly, not uncommon.

Well, I'm hopeful Jeep finally figured out the back glass problem and this is the solution. I have to take mine in to be replaced in the next couple weeks for the all too common rear window leak.

I know/realize/understand you asked for 23 model year, but sometimes changes take place "in the middle" of a model year, or at least at some point before the next model year is actually in production.
That being said - this is a late June 2022 build 2022 model year that left the factory sometime just before the end of June 2022.

I Guess I always assumed these would or should be installed with urethane like a windshield, no gasket.
A neat bead of urethane applied by gun, glass set in place, done. It's all but fool proof.
No trim, no gasket, no seal, just urethane and glass.

This is how my 2020 was as well.

If it was a car, it would be pinch weld area, urethane, glass. Nothing else. And once the urethane is set it takes an act of congress to get it out unless you have the tool/tools.

From what I understand they have to break it to take it out.
