Yea a Ram Box where cargo drawers on the bottom side of the bed go under the bed towards the driveline would be cool.

You'd lose ground clearance by going under the frame.

Not quite the bed, but a rear bumper with a step on the side, maybe like the one on the Africa Concept:
This is the type of bumper I expect it to ultimately come with. The bumper that is on the spy shots looks like a modified (or maybe just a straight) Ram rear bumper. the giant gap between the rear flair and bumper will need filled with something.

Still think a Utility bed option would be cool as well:

I really like the concept one, but the one issue with it, is that the depth of the cabinets takes up bed space. Would be cool to see something that is a combo of two. Where the concept one is widened to come out over the fender more and still allow normal bed space.

Oh hell no!!

Seriously though, I've wanted something like the Red Rock Responder for a long time - since I saw something similar built for a fireman on Overhaulin' (don't judge - my 5yo son loved the show). Someone commented about the cabinets takig up bed space - on the Responder they didnt' really, they're really narrow - you can put a hi-lift in one, but that's about it depth-wise. I do love the idea about extending them over the fenders a bit though - could always use a little extra space.

I'd buy an aftermarket bed that had something like that in a heartbeat, as long as it retained at least 48" width inside the bed (a dad's gotta haul plywood once in a while!).

One other thing I loved about the responder - it incorporated a Decked drawer. Looks like they could only fit one, because it's a JK, not a truck, but a pair of these in the back of my JT will make me very happy.

Yea full width you could maybe get a trail stove or fridge in there :)

Thats a total business idea for someone to take the Responder bed and start producing them for the JT with maybe a few tweeks for additional storage. Hell they could even have onboard air and water.

Was behind a Tundra with the full sliding rear window today. This would be great for the JT. Before removing the top you could just lower the window and it's safe and out of the way.

The Colorado ZR2 AEV concept has some good ideas of where things can go. They equiped it with on board air built into the side of the bed.
