The brace was som cash. I'm running 37's with a 3 in lift, heavy-duty components. Guys are breaking the sector shaft. The brace gives me piece of mind and will double the life of the box.I’ll check it out, thank you!
Not going to do anything for a stock JT.I’ll check it out, thank you!
I just wish I lived closer to you so I could come over and hang out and you could guide me through everything I need to do. Notwithstanding, I'm not averse to a road trip. Not going to do anything for a stock JT.
There's a lot of misconceptions about what it does and doesn't do, and many cases are placebo effect (spend that much money, no one is going to even hint it isn't helping as that would admit being wrong)
For big changes, it's going to relieve stress, but for stock, it can't help wander at all - no matter what people who use it insist.
If the steering gear is properly setup, including preload, and the caster is good, and the offset and backset are proper, all forces work to keep it going straight.
Wander means there's a problem. A brace on that shaft won't fix anything in those cases.
It's going to take stress off the sector shaft on heavily modified Jeeps - but won't do anything for a stock jeep except cover up problems that should be fixed first.
