Yeah, it's good to let the truck idle to cool the engine and turbo. I let my truck idle for about 5 minutes after working it hard, especially in hot ambient temps. The Jeeps are much worse due to the tight engine bay.Experienced my first derated recently going from Ely to Utah due to heat soaped. I usually leave it idling when stopped for a quick cigarette break, but forgot to do it this time. Pulled back on to the highway and it wouldn’t go more than 35mph. Boost gauge indicated 4 psi with the gas pedal nearly to the floor.
