As Devo once said "Are we not men?" Who cares how many sheets of plywood we can carry? How about some useful info. How many kegs can this thing carry? Standard 1/2 bl keg weight is 160lbs So we need room for approx 10 kegs. It's going to be a hell of a party.... can we do it? May need to go "two high" and use straps. Who's bringing the hot dogs and chips?? - Seriously though... I'm not a carpenter, I have owned my own house for almost 20yrs and I don't think I've bought 10 sheets of plywood in my life. 10 kegs? yes. ;)

I'm plenty riled. You fly fishers are all patience and no pulse so it doesn't effect your mentation. You fish dinner. I'll go raise hell and bring back a party. See you in a couple hours
Interesting ? but the logic is not true . IF no pulse, or even a very poor pulse . . . mentation WOULD be effected .
interesting choice of wordage . Were you thumbing thru a dictionary at the time ? Or did you just have a brainstorm  ? .

I learned what mentation meant today. Funny, google chrome is putting that red squiggly like under mentation, but not under squiggly, even though menation google search came up fine.

This is really exercising my mentation, :giggle:

I literally laughed out loud reading this. Thanks for a fun start to my Friday.

Brainfarts more likely. They run in my family. My gandpappy was famous about it. You could have learned a thing or two about most everything from that geezer. I tell ya.

On that other thing, my point was you should be riled up, but you ain't. Why are you happy about price? I guess you never haul plywood. And you probably hate two doors.

Items most likely to be carried in the bed of my truck:

Milk crates with hanging file dividers ( work stuff ).. Should mention that I'll have some sort of cap or cover ( something like this https://diamondbackcovers.com/products/diamondback-270-toyota?variant=12428681248867)

Lacrosse gear.. ( stinky wet crap that won't be inside the vehicle with me )

Bicycle stuff ( see above )

Fishing stuff ( also... see above..)

Camping gear.. have two scouts. umm see above as to not having to have wet stinky crap in the car with me....

So no plywood in my plans... but it's always a good idea to "Be Prepared"... ;)

"SON," now let me tell ya about gettin' all riled up ! MY riled up days are Mostly all behind me . Someday, maybe, just maybe IF you get old enough, ha, you will acquire the same wisdom of Obie-1 ! I don't need to add to my blood pressure problems . . . that's ONE reason ! #2, money no longer has the same importance in my life . I realize that may sound "strange," but with ALL the other Issues going on with this apparently tired old body, I don't worry about things I have NO control over ! Neither should you ! When the time comes, if it comes, I'll decide to buy or not ! 68 years of living in uncertainty will do that to a person ! The past 15 years, since retiring, I wake up get out of bed, drag a comb across my head . . . (Beatles) . . . ! Come Spring when the wild flowers bloom and I crawl out of my den . . . I'll mosey on down to the river and cast my first fly of the Season ! Wether I mosey in my Recon G.C. or JLU or Gladiator, AIN'T But-a-Thing !
Sure would be nice though, doin'-it via the GLAD ! Crap by the time it's "safe" to buy one I may no longer be allowed to drive . . . :( indeed, a real :headbang: for sure ! Hopefully I'll be   , the night away ! ;)

Just curious after your talks of getting older, how often do you drive with the top down on your JLU? Or do you have one yet?
