Do they build over the weekends?

Not enough data points, but I think so. I checked my status on a Friday and I was D1. On Monday I was I - implies weekend build, but could also mean a lag in updating status.

My build sheet and window sticker email notices both came out on a Sunday

Finally hit D status on Monday and I ordered on 7/19.

Well good news, and bad.

First the bad. The reason I do not have my Gladiator yet is of all things, a dead battery. Yup. It's in the depot 50 miles away with a dead battery, has been there the past month, and no way of knowing how long it will take someone to head out there from FCA and replace it - they don't let dealers in the compound. So who knows when it will be fixed. Sales manager told me there has been a spate of dead batteries lately.

Now the good news. the dealer found an almost identical Gladiator at a dealer in Tacoma. It doesn't have the bed liner and does have the convenience group. I bought that one today, signed the paperwork, and it will be here Monday. So the end is in sight.

Do you guys know if this means I already went through I inspection? Is KZ next?

Well ordered a SG Rubicon on 7/28 from Criswell and got my VIN# on 8/1 and got D status on 8/6 and now D1 status 8/14 and estimated ship date of 8/22. I am not holding my breath but would be happy if it works out!!

KZ Status today. How long does KZ generally take? They wouldn't provide me with a scheduled delivery date. I'm hoping to receive prior to labor day.

The Canned answer you probably will get from FCA chat is 30-45 days it can possibly sit in KZ status before shipping. KZ status is a pretty ambiguous fluid state since the vehicle is built and just waiting to ship and sitting in the yard in Toledo.

In my case once I hit KZ status, FCA chat for two weeks told me the KZ status had not changed and was still waiting to ship. Got feed up and called the dealer and it was actually delivered the day before to them. So I would suggest contacting your dealer for a better status update than FCA chat.

Dealer just told me I’m in D1 for my GCMLE with a ship date of 09/04 and he estimates getting it by end of Sept! Woohoo!
