Eli from Ignition Tube surprised his friend with one of our systems. Also got some clips with stock vs. Trail Edition for reference.

For more information or to grab one for your JT head to AWEJeep.com.

Is Track Edition and Trail Edition the same???
For the Gladiator we offer the Trail Edition and the Tread Edition. Biggest difference is that the Tread Edition offers tips in several configurations and the Trail Edition offers a turn down right after the rear axle for the most clearance. They both have drone canceling 180 Technology® resonators in a similar configuration for the same great sound.

Here is a link if you need some more info, or want to check out more photos/videos: Gladiator Exhaust Suite.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Are there any options for the Dual outlet tips? Is there a 4" Chrome or 3 1/2" ?
The 5" are a little ott for me.

I wasn't planning on changing the exhaust on my gladiator because it's a V6 but this system sounds nice. I had it on my Ram 1500 and the quality was spot on and the sound was amazing...so much better and more refined than the Borla Atak I previously had on it. Thanks FORUM for putting these ideas in my head.

The 5" in diamond black or chrome silver are the only tip options that we offer.

If you are looking for a little more subtle I would suggest the Trail Edition which has no tip, better for clearance as well!

All systems feature the same front resonator and the same drone-canceling 180 Technology® resonator so sound will be very similar. 👍

Another AWE owner here. Ive had two other brands of catbacks on the 3.6 and two modified factory catback exhausts. I opted for the trail for clearance and I have oversized mud flaps that wouldn’t clear the AWE tread versions.
Install and quality: Install took me about 30 minutes. My previous AFE Rock Basher legit took 4 minutes to remove. The AWE was a simple piece together one by one, taking 20-25 minutes. The t304L stainless steel is nice and the welds were perfect. Zero issues putting it together.
Sound: I solely put on catbacks for sound. I cannot comment on 5hp and 10tq as my previous catback has been on for over 10,000kms. BUT the sound. Its amazing! Im actually in “awe” of how this sounds on the JT with the 3.6. The tuning done to really make this truck sound great is appreciated. Its still a brand new system and Im sure it might settle a bit, but overall very happy. Catbacks aren’t for everyone, but I wouldnt hesitate to tell anyone this is the way to go! Thanks AWE for the time and engineering put into this. It paid off.

Appreciate the review, and glad you are loving the system! :fist bump:

Tread Edition:

The perfect Jeep Gladiator Exhaust does exist, and it’s called AWE’s Tread Edition.

Handcrafted from US-made 3” T304L stainless steel, the Tread Edition is a full, straight-through catback configuration for drivers looking for rugged performance and a drone-free, signature exhaust note without sacrificing daily-drivability.

The Tread Edition features a bespoke resonator in the mid pipe, followed by AWE’s patented, drone-canceling 180 Technology®, right before the rear axle (i.e. where the cabin ends). This combination provides the Gladiator’s 3.6L with a sophisticated, full-bodied soundtrack completely controllable via the throttle. With increased throttle, the Gladiator roars with aggression, but at highway speeds, the cabin is free of any drone, and volume is similar to stock.

Perfect tone, compliments of AWE 180 Technology®.

As exhaust gases exit the 3.6L engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology® equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

Tip Options:

When it comes to bringing up the rear, drivers have a couple of options. The Tread Edition is offered as a single or dual outlet configuration, each having one 5” double-walled, straight-cut tip per tailpipe outlet.
  • Single-side: one tailpipe, one tip, exits right behind the driver’s side wheel, under the factory or aftermarket fender flare.
  • Dual: two tailpipes, two tips, exits right behind driver’s and passenger’s side wheels, under the factory or aftermarket fender flare.
Regardless of which option you choose, rest assured neither interfere with the factory rear rocker.

Trail Edition:

Crawlers and overlanders: unite. The AWE Trail Edition is not only engineered to provide the best sounding exhaust note to ever be heard on the trail, it also provides maximum ground clearance while trekking rough terrain.

The Trail Edition is a 3” straight-through catback configuration featuring a bespoke mid pipe resonator and AWE’s patented, drone-canceling 180 Technology®, and ends right after the rear axle, tucked up next to the spare wheel well out of the way of danger. You’re left with a rugged, USA-made exhaust that provides a bespoke, drone-free soundtrack and peace of mind unlike anything else on the market.

I just installed the AWE trail version on my ‘20 gladiator and could not be more impressed. Packaging, fit, finish, 10/10. I had an AWE turbo back exhaust on a Gti over 17 years ago and I’m equally satisfied with their product. Keep up the great work and the American made craftsmanship!
