Prices Went Up

Was just looking at jeep.com and it looks like the MSRP went up a little bit for all trim levels. For those of us who have an order in, and a window sticker already created, that shouldn't change, correct? (ie, I can still expect the dealer to honor the price we talked about?)

I would say the price you are going to pay shouldn’t change as long as you got something with confirmation of the price. Best to contact your dealer.

It is going to be dealer specific but I'd imagine a standup spot sticks by the agreement on order but yes, sorry, it will be specific to that dealer unfortunately and whatever they want to do.

I imagine unless they have someone else lined up though... they wouldn't have much incentive other than just seeing if you'll eat it or not.

Takes balls to add costs to a guaranteed already sold vehicle but not unheard of, especially if they think the worst that will happen is you say no and they just proceed as normal. Or perhaps worse... they know someone else who will.

I do think the price increase is correct though... with inflation they'd be losing money soon.

Went to pick up my custom order Sport Max Tow today. I got there and instead of the Sport its a Sport S. Wife was happy to have her remote start and all those fancy electric locks and windows. Dealership was awesome and I paid the price of what I had ordered and they gave me 2k off for the trouble.

The build tool at jeep.com was not price accurate when I ordered my Gladiator back in April. It suggested a lower price than the actual MSRP. Maybe jeep just finally updated the tool to give accurate prices and there was no actual change?

I just bought my Overland 10 days ago. I found one in the area with exactly what I wanted. Got it for 11% off MSRP. And they messed up and had to give me 0% financing that was supposed to be an either/or with a rebate.
Then put my car on Facebook Marketplace and got $4k more than it was worth a few months ago. I’m happy!

They will continue to rise.
Inflation is here.
Base materials are considerably more expensive.
There are shortages on many items to build with.
Inventories are low across all manufacturers.
