Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

I thought only the wiring itself was different and the handles and caps were the same?

Just wondering, not related to it working or not on the other side - what did you use to set it to having proximity locks? jscan or something else?

Just musing, wondering - how is it that I ordered this over 6 weeks ago and everyone else has gotten theirs and still no word at all if I'm even still in line to get any.
Next week our temps plummit - so I have little hope of getting these in time to get them installed before spring.

They look the same but something with the cap is different. Only the driver side left antenna connection would work with it.
Yep set the right door antenna in JScan.

I was just curious about what you used as I have jscan licensed for my JT vin and have used it to just sort of look around a bit - but since I have no parts for this process yet, was hoping to confirm that yet, jscan will change the setting and I won't need to be looking for other hardware or app.

Look for bent pins. Several have hade trouble after putting doors back on.

Has anybody had success with the tazer? I updated my today after put in the parts and it said that it turned it on, but nothing worked.

Cousin is service/parts manager at a jeep dealership. They have a code that puts them in the front of the line.

I ordered mine in August from the dealer. The harness (left side only) came in last Thursday 11/5. They also changed the part # 2x in that timespan. In the long run, it was worth it. I installed everything yesterday. It took less than 30min, another 5 to enable via my Tazer. Works perfectly. My first world problem is now solved and I couldn't be more pleased.
