I lost my key fob a few months ago and reluctantly paid dealer 416 bucks for a new one.
2 weeks ago for some reason I looked at my purchase paperwork and saw that I had been suckered into the paintless dent removal policy. That policy however covered lost key fobs. I called company, scanned and emailed my receipt from dealer and yesterday received a check for full 416.

Don't forget to check what coverage you have time to time is my message.

That’s why you have to read what you’re signing. The paperwork that they have to have you legally sign will show available options they sell and whether or not you’re paying for it or declining it.

My battery failed yesterday. The factory warranty expired the day before.

Service says sometimes Jeep will “goodwill” most of the cost in this type case. We’ll see.

Also, many may not know that if you have the Mopar Maxcare, it will cover a lost or damaged key fob for your deductible.

Careful what you sign. Told kid I didn't want the aftermarket glass break and paint scratch. Total almost 5k.

Thought he removed and didn't look close enough when signing.

Hit the sales manager up next day by phone when I read the contract. Got Voice Mail of course. So first opportunity to see him face to face due to work schedule was just over 3 days. Turned out, he says well I called you back unable to reach you so left it on. YEP, I got stuck with it. Told him id be in his office to use it if needed till my 100k miles. He said, sure-no problem. Not, sorry Sir-well take that off and refund the bank.

But just one little 5k mix up.🤪🫣

Sounds pretty good! Kawasaki (at least used to) offer KPP which not only extended the factory warranty from 1 to 4 years, but even covered wear-items (suspension seals, wheel bearings, and even the clutch!) I actually had my rear wheel bearings covered at 40k miles 2 years into owning my 636.
