Got my AAL fender chop installed today. It looks sweet. I'm starting to have to think about what I could use next, but then realize there's still a lot to do. Next will be a Warn Elite Rear Bumper, probably a clutch and gears after. If Punk'n came back I'd be super tempted to get a diesel one ordered. But I've got so much time into this thing I'd really hate to start over again.

Your JT face reminds me of Spirit Halloween's Possessed Pumpkin. This is the best time of year to own a Punk'n. Me = jealous.

It's a great color. Absolutely no regrets on it. FCA is the best when it comes to colors though. Other builders do have some gorgeous colors, but nothing I'd really call "fun" and that's what FCA does exceptionally well.

Nice doors off wx
Man unfortunately I'm past that weather for the year. Doors off top on is my favorite configuration though. Something just very fun about driving a vehicle with no doors on.

Maybe you can answer a question my wife and I have. The color of your picture denotes exactly the color we want for our Gladiator.

Our issue is we have never been able to see the color in person. When searching online and looking up Punk’n Metallic we see everything from your color (Reddish Orange) to a more neutral orange color.

What we want is the reddish orange version you have here but it could also be filters. Honestly we would love to meet someone in Louisiana that we could travel to so we can see one in person before we spend $60,000 to special order on August.

Color can change with the lighting, but I think that pic is pretty accurate. Sometimes more redish, sometimes a bit more orange.

They only shot the Gladiator in PE4 Punk'n Orange, there wasn't another orange available on the JT. It's definitely a chameleon, it changes in different lighting. It's too bad you haven't seen one, it wasn't that common when it was available.

The punk'n really changes shade depending on lighting.

These photos were taken within seconds of each other and no editing to them. Gives you an idea of how much it can shift depending on what directing the light is reflecting.

Good pics - they really make your point. I personally think the top one is more indicative of the actual, in-person color, for someone who hasn't seen one up close and is thinking about it buying.

Where I prefer the bottom one. I am honestly starting to grow more and more on the color in general.

The next things will be what options I should get and what packages. First question is what trim level would suite me is best.

From there, I will have to decide on options. I know I want the max tow package in case I ever need to pull something heavier.

And I go back and forth every day on Black Top / Body Color Top.

Do we happen to have a general consensus on what if any options are must haves to get up front vs adding aftermarket later?

I went through a few 100 pages of what people do to their gladiators and I expect to be broke soon. I am more worried about things that people feel should absolutely be purchased at time of purchase and is generally better to add aftermarket vs Mopar.

For instance, the temp package I will get upfront as I would not want to add heated steering, seats and dual temp later.

When we were buying Punk'ns the JT ballgame was entirely different. You could not get LED headlights, leather, 8.4 radio, painted flares or top, all kinds of things on a Sport. Those options were only available on the Rubicon/Overland. Now you can get anything it seems on a Sport and there's way more stuff that is both standard, and optional. But if I was doing it again, I'd do the same thing. Maybe add a couple things, though maybe I wouldn't have to because they're standard now. But I'd definitely be comparing the different trims and what is standard on one, optional on another, and what the real price difference between them are.
