It's as if the guys sat around drinking cheap Coors one day and somebody said "I'll bet you another 12 pack that you can't make that Gladiator so ugly that the GM design studio would hoist a white flag" and the dude next to him said "Watch this".

To each their own. It reminds me of a real work horse vehicle from back in the day. Like the forestry trucks and such. Back when styling was so important they devoted real materials to it, not just a bunch of snap together pieces of plastic.

Can you at least give it a nod for reaching into actual gladiator past design? I will grant you that it is a bit over styled, Saint Jeff Scherb has chopped up an actual FSJ grill package for that authentic look.
