That can be dependent on what radios everyone has. I like to run the higher GMRS channels to reduce the chance of another group being on the same channel, but that is not always possible with some of the cheaper models.
To be on the safe side, I will be driving up the day of, vs camping the night before. I was hoping to blast through this bat flu, and mostly have, but half the time I feel like I have mono.

Well, it really looked like the stars were aligning for this trip; my GMRS radios showed up Tuesday, I got my FCC license Wednesday but now life is getting in the way. Hopefully there be another trip this year that I’ll be able to make.

elff will probably chime in with an exact spot. When you arrive there is a pretty big parking lot. If you see a Snazzberry Wrangler Willys next to black Mazda Tribute that will be my mom and me. The Tribute will probably stand out because it'll be so woefully unequipped for wheeling!
