Thanks for the feedback. I’m just running down rabbit holes both for me and anyone else that had similar questions. The more I ask the more I learn and the closer I get to what I think I want. Trying to cut through hype and BS to get to the meat and potatoes.

All of these shock platforms are in completely different leagues and are not equal? King's IBPs aren't really IBPs IMO.....only internal needle valves for the last 2" of bump travel where Fox and ADS are literally multi zone internal bypasses that each zone is individually tunable.
Kinda sounds like black magic.
I have just enough experience with my motorcycle to know, I don't know shit.

I was kinda figuring I'd to Fox 2.0 resi shocks from Accutune or some such place. That's once I'm ready to lift my diesel Rubicon. Probably not for a few years though. But these 2.5 HTO sound pretty good also. Not sure I can justify the price of a full 2.5 resi shock.
I don't mind, and prefer to support the small guys if possible. Once the time comes I'll try to remember to look up that Crazy Cooter guy.

A lot of it is smoke and mirrors! People seem to pick a brand based on color or other cool factor, then they want me to work around it assuming they already bought them?

Why not pick your tuner based on your use and their experience. Let the tuner sell you what really need? I send some people to Phil at Liberty Mountain Fab if their driving style and use don't align with my personal experience and philosophy, but it does with his.

I've driven a diesel JT on Accutuned Fox resi 2.0's......it failed the drive test before I finished backing out of my parking space......the owner was laughing that I was already bagging on his truck in less than 15'.

After driving my truck, the guy wrote me a check for a set of my tuned Fox 2.5s. 100% of the people who actually drive in to the shop and get to try my truck for themselves buy either the E-Cliks or Fox 2.5s with my tuning. One guy came back for a small tweak a couple of weeks later to soften it up, but the dozens of others have been happy as I delivered them.

This stuff is a stupid amount of money for many people and that's why I'm kind of excited for the possibilities of the HTO 2.5. Something that's more robust and should last 50-100% longer AND is rebuildable by someone other than just Fox!
