In case you have not heard of this some JT's came with a Bilstein rear axle damper. Check out this thread for more info: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/3rd-shock-over-rear-axle.24997/page-4
It seems as though only Sport S and Willys Sport with 6MT come equipped with it. I haven't thought of it till just now but I was wondering if lifting my JT is affecting this damper at all? I have to assume you'd want to put a shock extension on a spacer lift so wouldn't the same hold true of this damper?
I'm currently running a 2" MOPAR so it's not a huge lift and it drives great so I don't think I have any concerns. It's odd though, I have seen no mention of this damper in the aftermarket so even if I wanted to put an extension on I don't think anything is available. What are your thoughts?
