Rear fender chop cover

I know I’ve seen them on here before but cannot find the post. Does anyone know who sells the plastic cover that hides the metal section after doing a fender chop? Thanks in advance

Yes I’ve seen someone install a plastic piece that fills that spot but can’t find the post.

Take the inner fender you ripped off and cut that part off with tin snips. Closely follow the existing lines and cut carefully. Then use a file to take off the rough edges and use gorilla glue to glue to the fender. the cut section will still have a tab on it to insert into the body and place to re-use the existing push-pin you removed.

Here's my attempt to making a panel. But the bend towards the underside of plastic trim is what's getting in the way of making this a simple patch. Had to bend it a bit buy now i see i'll have to stack some two sided tape to make sure it's secured.

Anyone ever cut that piece of metal off?
I saw a video from [Banned Site] showing his cut back from that point straight across and while it wasn't a "how to video" the outcome was pretty clean looking. I am tempted to just cut this portion off since I am still running the stock rear bumper but was wondering if anyone else has already done this?

This is the video I was referring to. Didn't realize it was a "Banned Site" (he has great content). It only shows the results and I was wondering if anyone here has done either that or just cut the portion that is exposed in the thread above off which is what I was contemplating.

I'm hoping someone will chime in on this one. I've been debating doing this as well. We are supposed to have some good weather this weekend which will be the perfect time.

It's been done and you see the video proof.

Use the body line as your guide, use good, heavy bodied painters tape to protect the paint, take your time, follow the line. Probably need a file to clean up the edges and then some paint to cover the bare metal.
