How’d it turn out ???

Thinking about these as insurance … I tow a travel trailer with my ecodiesel. I don’t wheel this truck, but I’m not convinced one way or another that these frames are week or what
It's actually at Shift now getting installed, I was waiting on the Fox Bump stops to come in, they said it should be ready tomorrow.

Right behind the shock on my passenger side is where my frame bent when I was hit by a drunk driver. It bent exactly where the dimples are. It makes me wonder if that is what it is designed for as a crumple zone in case of a rear impact. Once the frame is replaced, I am strongly considering installing the supports there though.

Mine is not bent. I do have the decked system in the bed, plus gas and other camping items. I’m doing as a preventative measure .
Smart move. I myself have been looking at kits. Let me know how this install went

Frame strength is always good.

If you guys are beating and loading your Gladiator's that hard, you might want to consider, from the very beginning; A Dodge Ram Power Wagon or Ford Super Duty. Jump it up a notch. Just sayin'.

Gladiators and Taco's and the rest of the 1/2 tonners don't compare to a 3/4 ton or higher rated truck.

Good luck with your mods. And i understand the JT is an awesome setup. But some might need a bigger frame and suspension front to back from the 'Get-Go".

I own a Mojave for it's stronger frame. The rest of the Mo was just icing on the cake.

Be well. Jeep on.
The added strength of the Mojave and diesel trucks is not where the frames have been failing.

The design of the rear suspension aids in the frame bending. Rear shocks are frame mounted too far forward. Adding stiffer rear shocks doesn't help. Towing a trailer on a wash board freeway just kills it.

I have a ‘20 JTR and my son has a 23 JTR. Mine has the dimples and his doesn’t. Maybe your replacement frame won’t have them.

My '23 JTR is currently getting its frame straightened after a mishap at Sand Hollow UT. Frame shop said it's bent about 1" downward. I have the Shift frame brace enroute and will have it installed. Trying to figure out what to do about rear bumpstops to give additional precautionary help to avoid this issue again. I currently that the Metalcloak Durosprings and wondering if there is a better option out there. I love the idea of hydro's but the cutting the frame to install scares the poop out of me.

Here is the shift brace you ordered with hydro stops.

Since it's at the shop already and i assume the frame shop will be adding the shift braces then do the hydros at the same time.
