Curious to hear if your install will be similar to mine. What year is your JT?

Just ordered mine.

for that price is a simple choice to make for nothing other than piece of mind. Those rear sway bar ends are flimsy and poorly planned IMO. So this make me feel good.

Installed successfully but had to deviate slightly from MetalCloak's instructions.

For 2021 JTs, there is a bracket on both sides and a what looks to be heat shield ?‍♂ on the driver side. The heat shield you have to toss, there is no room for it. You have to sandwich the reinforcement bracket between the frame rail and the OEM bracket. Also the bolt and washers that come with the bracket are not needed for 2021 JTs.

Hope this makes sense.

My 220 JTR is the same and have questioned Metalcloak on this with no reply. My question is why is there no room for the heat shield if you place on top like the wiring bracket, seems like the bolts are long enough? Still waiting for mine to show up

The bolts are long enough but the MC bracket is not flat. It dishes out a little, the heat shield would not lay flat on the bracket.

I bet they are basing the bracket off their 2020 JT at the shop. This would be a nice addition to their install notes if you contact @Metalcloak to let them know.

I posted on their page already.
I also contacted them. They were quick to respond and said that they have forwarded the info to their engineers.

Looking at the photo, it looks like I might be able to cut away some material and retain the heat shield.

This is what I was wondering. Would we be able to make a simple cut or two to the heat shield to keep it in place with the bracket. or...may sound dumb...some JB weld a piece of it on to the bracket to maintain the coverage provided by the heat shield. Not sure exactly what it is there for, but its there for a reason so I wouldn't want to just leave it gone.

After work today I’ll try to bolt on the OEM heat shield. Not sure if it is a heat shield, I assumed it was because the muffler is like 3” away from the bracket.

Talk about a Grand Tour. These things should be covered in travel location stickers if and when they show up.
