Ducks go to my 10 month old grandson. Only jeeps displaying ducks around here are pretty much stock jeeps. I guess its their first jeep , I don't know ?

Honestly, I cannot acquire a target quickly with a red dot on a pistol. So for carry, no way for me. For target shooting? Maybe. I have a Glock 40 MOS upper with a Vortex Venom on it. I put it on my Glock 20 frame for target shooting. It´s super accurate, but for bear country, I carry the 20 with TruGlo TFX irons.

Yes, but keeping the Ducks to a minimum, especially if they are foisted upon you by loved ones. Thats a survival strategy.

Having no electronic sights on my 1911, normal.

Now, the only issue is to stop having people give me tiny themed hoodies to put on my shifter....

I got a Holosun for Christmas a few years ago and put it on a p365. I tried my best to get used to it but never could so it went back in the box. Last year when my prescription changed to stronger bifocals, shooting fast and accurate with irons became very challenging so I mounted it again. It took a lot of practice but once I got used to it, the speed finally came. For me there was no other option but once I fully committed to it, I see the appeal.

Absolutely…. You don’t even have to waste ammo. Kinda like dry fire drills but you don’t have to pull the trigger. Just walk around your house pointing at things in your house to get the ‘site picture’ with both eyes open. Then transition from target to target with your eyes and follow with the dot.
