Long story short -
A few months ago I posted on the tick of death I dealt with and it seemed to be running fine until the other day. I was accelerating hard when it threw misfire codes P0300, 0305 & 0306...
Cleared codes and did some testing in alfaobd (clean phasers, cam relearn etc) and ended up with just 0300+0306.
Tore into it to get to the plugs (SUCH A PITA!!) which had been replaced a few months ago and were fine.
#6 was fouled bad.
No compression on 6. Tested again without the exhaust rockers and no change. Had to order a leak down test to try that tomorrow. After that I'll get a camera into the bore to inspect, but I'm really thinking it may be time for a new motor. What do you guys think?
@JeepCares would be nice to know there's some support past warranty on these but I'm not holding my breath.

Without a scope not sure what to suspect. But none of my thoughts would be cheap easy to fix. I hope you find it to be something simple like a bent valve

We put a scope in it and could see a chunk missing from one of the exhaust valves. Also, I had been hearing what sounded like an amp/subwoofer thump when I started it recently...I guess it wasn't the sub. I have a kicker sub box in it too.
I can't load pics so here's a link

Check with America's Most Wanted. They have engines from new Jeeps that did the Hemi swap. Lot of those are low mileage.

They have 2 right now. They're asking 6k. Wonder if they negotiate.
