The Bilstein 5100 is a good budget shock. I got 4 of them for $440 from @Northridge4x4 .

I'm thinking that those shocks are supposed to be used if you have anything over a Inch and a 1/2 lift.

Rancho RS5000, the factory red shocks (from a willys or a JLR), both good IMHO.

I have the Bilstein 5100 on a 2020 Sport S no lift. I have Rubicon take off wheels and tires no other suspension mods. I am very pleased with the shocks. Ride is a little firmer than stock but works well on the road r off rad in the sand. I have the Ranchos on my TJ, I like both shocks But I feel thje Bilsteins are a better shock for the money.

Just re-used the stock springs then and swapped shocks out? I’m weighing options for a similar setup. I had Fox 2.0s that simply leveled out the stance on my previous vehicle, and would like to run 33s with a nicer quality shock like the Fox ones on my Gladiator.

Two problems with that -
No, the shocks did NOT level out the stance of anything. Shocks don't do that. Springs support the weight and determine the curb height.
You show having a JT Sport - doubt you have "Fox shocks" unless you put them on.

as I said, the Fox 2.0s I had were on a previous vehicle - a Ram 1500 - and if you want to get technical sure, it was the package of 2.0s and springs that I put on in the process of ditching the factory air ride that leveled it out. My point is that I’m looking to do something similar with my new-to-me sport. Level out the stance and have a slightly better quality ride.

Hey, I was just going by exactly what you said -

I constantly see people saying "I need to level" or "the rear sags, so I need new shocks", so when oyu said you had Fox 2.0s that simply leveled out the stance of your previous vehicle, you didn't mention a leveling kit or spring.
Not getting technical - just taking you at your word for what you said ;)

The front 2.0s were coilovers on the Ram. either way, was kinda immaterial to my actual question lol, simply illustrating that I liked the type of ride and the small stance adjustment that I got from the 2.0s.

I just wanted to clarify if they used any other kind of spring or just used the Bilstein shock with stock springs. There are some takeoff max tow package springs near me, so I’m just doing some research here.

I will say I bought a set of Rubicon Red shocks thinking they would be a little longer than my OE Shocks on my tow max. I figured they would do a better job of controling the bigger tires in its future. I bought the MOPAR 2" lift kit springs and end links, bump stops, adj front track bar and ordered a Teraflex rear track bar relocation bracket . Fortunately I also bought shock extensions as the Red shocks were no longer than my OE shocks. I have to say the red shocks are not worth the room they take up . I felt like I was drunk driving on back roads and at about 70 mph on the Garden State Parkway I felt like I was driving in a Nor'easter . I have since reinstalled the OE shocks and it drives like it did before I touched a thing on the truck . It handles like a sports car compared to whenthe red shocks were installed . I just figured I would mention it in case you get bright ideas like I did .
