Don't get all emotional on us now, all this pricing is mostly based on marketing and/or supply and demand. In my tri state area in the Rockies, for the last decade, nothing has even come close to holding its value like a Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator. For the first couple years of production, Broncos were selling for 5-10K over MSRP, because no one had any in stock, and some people will do anything to get what they can't have. Now, the lots are full of Broncos they can't get rid of, and a huge sale is coming. So, 10K over MSRP sale price=MSRP used, with 10K miles. This 2023 Gladiator sale was really weird, not sure what was going on with that, but it of course affected used values. If you just wait, I'm confident used Gladiator values will come back way up. You have one of the best and most coveted vehicles ever manufactured, don't go getting in a big hurry to be rid of it.It’s depressing. If I sell I probably will never buy another Jeep. Low mileage Broncos in my area are selling for near original msrp. I definitely bought the wrong brand.
Have any sort of automobiles ever been a reliable Investment vehicle? Especially the kind meant to be driven daily? We aren’t exactly talking Ferrari 456’s here. It’s depressing. Both of my Tacomas I drove almost free for the years I had them, based on what I paid for them when I got them vs what I was paid for them when sold.Have any sort of automobiles ever been a reliable Investment vehicle? Very few of your own upgrades and modifications will match someone else's tastes, so whatever you bolted on is a net zero, unless you got goofy with grumper grilles and painting hinges and door handles goofy accent colors. Then you're in loss territory, because clowns do their own makeup.

Implying that Wrangler/Gladiator buyers are all buying for functionality is a stretch. The average Wrangler owner will never see more than a curb and the average Gladiator owner will never haul more than what you can put in a midsize SUV. These are lifestyle/fashion vehicles now and in that space, the Bronco is absolutely the top competition. This is a ridiculous take.
Broncos aren't trucks. Broncos don't compete with the Gladiator. Wranglers are also far better on resale than Gladiators.
Comparison is the thief of joy, dude. If you base your relationship with a brand on its resale value, and not your enjoyment of what the brand produces, you aren't ever going to be happy.
I mean have you met Jeep people? They're as insufferable as any other brand whore.Sounds like you just need to exit out the back door ---**shots fired** Your not a Jeep person.
Not even going to get into the comparison conversation.....
Curious what years this was? Tacomas do tend to hold their value, a lot it seems to be buying them right. Around my parts, good luck getting any Toyota for anything under MSRP + dealer installed “upgrades” or as I call them profit makers. Both of my Tacomas I drove almost free for the years I had them, based on what I paid for them when I got them vs what I was paid for them when sold.
