Prepping the Rock Hard FAD skid for install. Figured I'd paint it to match the Rancho frt and rear diff gliders I have. Base coat done. Need another coat or 2 and then time for install

If you are installing it with the Rock Hard front lower control arm skids. You have to do some trimming to the FAD skid. Not enough clearance for the bolt and nut of the control arm.

They didn't make their own stuff directly compatible?

I got the Rock Hard control arm skids and FAD skid to go on together w/o trimming, but I later took off the control arm skids because due to tolerances the bolts could not be tightened to clamp evenly, resulting in squeaking no matter how many times I torqued them. Inserting a thin washer helped some but it was still not sufficient.
