Anyone take a look at these yet? Not bad price point and has a dual step along with integrated LED's already. More steps than Rock Rails, but this is the most active thread for both so...

I have been looking at them for a while. Contacted one guy that posted on YouTube about installing them on his JKU and he said he really liked them. They are pretty strong but not RSE slider strong as far as any actual protection from hard wheeling.

still not sure about them cause not enough info out there. My one concern is that they are 79” which is I think just short of fender to fender. But on their website they also show a 84” set. I might just call Aries directly to ask

I ended up getting a set of Rugged Ridge RRC Rocker Guards for essentially free.
https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/rockers-sliders/11504-38-rugged-ridge-rrc-rocker-guards
They're decently constructed, fairly light, and overall not bad but definitely not my first choice. Unfortunately, I'll have to take the Rubi rails off, I'll post a photo when I get them installed.
Installed the "rocker guards" today ... they look great but don't function well enough as a step and there's no way they'll work as rock sliders, the mounting brackets are too thin.

These are for sale if you're in the SF area, asking $300 and I'll even install them for you ;)

seen these just the other day and was gonna ask the same. Also in the same boat as you, like the rockslide and Aries power steps, and a few others out there, but really trying to keep it sub $1000 and really would rather to keep it sub $700
I reached out to ATP to get more details on the way they mount up. Will share what I hear back.

Too bad they're not frame mounted like these from RCI. My brother has a set on his Tacoma and says they are bullet proof.

If all else fails, I think I'll go with
EVO (Coming Soon) http://evomfg.com/EVO-MFG-Products/Jeep-Gladiator-JT?product_id=481

Poison Spyder : https://www.quadratec.com/p/poison-spyder/rocker-knockers-jeep-wrangler-unlimited-jl
Will need to confirm that they fit JT, since other sites only list them for JL.

i know this was mentioned before here, but more info.

from our sister site, LOD says, "Jeep JK / JL / Gladiator Armor Lite Rocksliders, Coming Soon!!!!!

Innovative One Piece Extruded Aluminum body construction for MAXIMUM strength!
Configurable and modular design allows the addition of individual drop steps or larger one piece drop steps for easy entry and exit from your Jeep.
Drop steps are easily removable within seconds without the use of any tools, so when you get to your destination, you can remove the drop steps and hit the trail and use your sliders for their intended purpose of protecting your Jeep!
Optional high strength steel bolt on skid plate allows you to protect the aluminum sliders from rock rash while allowing the sliders to easily slide over obstacles!
Easy install!! 3 piece High Strength Steel Frame mounted Design requires NO Drilling to install!"

In the thread above on LOD Rock Sliders, the reason I said I don't know if they ever will produce the Signature Series Rock Sliders for the Gladiator is because I believe they are currently focusing on producing a version of their Destroyer Series Rock Sliders first (and possibly only).

Their Destroyer Series Sliders have steps built into them. While it's not my first preference I may end up going with them. We'll see when they're available and how they compare to others like Roam's if/when they have something and I like it.

Here's LOD's Destroyer Series Rock Sliders on a JLU:

I hope they make the steps longer. I was just looking back at the roam ones and there is way more length on the step up front, and in back actually.
Jeep Gladiator Rock Rails Thread 3af06a47ff090fda1ed6-1920x480

I'm not sure where I would normally step, but the LOD armor lite with that additional step down might be handy with a lift/kids.

I have the kids already, lift hopefully sometime soon.

I'm now leaning toward the LoD Armor Lite's over the ROAM steps for the weight savings/no rust qualities of aluminum, and frame mounting to boot. I got an email reply from LoD this morning that the cost will be roughly the same as the Destroyer Series ($900 range?). They also said they've had ROAM customers switch over to their steps/sliders after being unhappy with the ROAM product. Don't know if that's true, but I do like what I see on the website and in the videos. The removable steps are a nice option also. Probably would score points with the wife on that one!

I installed the N-Fab Predator Steps. I knew I would be compromising on strength, but wanted aluminum. There seemed to only be a few choices and these were around $500. This is a daily driver and I want to keep it as light as possible where I can knowing I'll add a steel bumper and winch. I was already wearing on the seat sliding in and have not installed a lift yet. My wife is short as well. I'm less than over the moon with the quality of the steps. The product was scratched in several places with a gouge, as seen in the pic. Most all welds seem to be dulled View attachment 59496 in the powder coat. While N-fab looks to have an available warranty, you have to have the serial number and such and I trashed the box a week ago. I'm OCD and had to touch up the gouge with some DIY bedliner. I know these are steps and will get marred up, but I'd rather do the scratching through use. The product was delivered quickly via Amazon and wrapped well.

My concern is that those "Optional" pieces will not be included and will need to be purchased separately.

If that's the case, I cant justify the pricing on these over the ROAM steps. ROAM comes with integrated LED's also which is a nice touch over the LOD steps. All of this, coupled with what you were saying about the longer step, and I'd be out on the LOD steps. It'd be nice for either one of these to finally come to market though. I'm tired of pulling myself up forcefully with my grab handle.

So I just got my Glad about 3 weeks ago and it came with "Heavy Duty Rock Slider with Step Assist by Mopar" but they never extend out. Is there a version that doesn't extend out and did I get screwed by the dealership? Or another question is how are they supposed to extend out?

They do not extend down like the Rock Slide Engineering Rails do.

this is from Travis at Tri city Jeep, he posted this on the JL thread.
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...with-step-assist-look-like.16346/#post-445405

They are featured on the MOAB Edition. They are essentially a beefier rock rail with a slight lip that extends out past the door edge that mimics a step. Just how functional is it for a "running board?" Ehhh...it does serve somewhat of that purpose; however, it does not extend down, away from the body of the Jeep. Overall, just a beefed up rock rail.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. At least I am not an idiot that couldn't figure out how to get them to extend lol. The sticker price on them is pretty high for something that really isn't much of a step assist. Are they really that heavy duty to justify the cost? I may replace them with something that extends out a bit farther because my GF is short and will have problems getting in once I get my lift on.
