Good luck. This was 3 weeks without the vehicle of a hassle for me. It is finally fixed but they had to paint the top and did an awful job of the touch ups. I would also suggest not wasting your time with Jeep cares. Not sure they really did anything to help in this situation.

Just found water behind my seat yesterday, didn't see anything on the window, just in the tray behind the seat ... brand new vehicle and it's nothing but wind noise and leaks ... not happy at all with this $50k purchase.

Yep. This rear window leak is a huge pain in the ass to get repaired too. itā€™s a faulty install of the window seal.

Update on my rear window leak... Without much hassle my dealership did a full rear window replacement and after some heavy rain it looks like I no longer have a leak.
Glad to hear. I hope mine goes as well. I had my service person call me to say they found cracks above the window track, but then that they had to call it in to be approved. I am glad I am able to leave car at dealer with not having to drive to work now but they said it may take two to three days to get the authorization.

I traded my 2015 JKU in last weekend on a new Gladiator Sport with Max Tow package. My Weathertech mats came in yesterday and I went out after the rains stopped to put them in and the rear was soaked with rainwater. It was leaking above the slider. I was able to get it into the dealer today (the water leak specialist travels between dealers and just happened to be coming today). He said the weatherstripping appears to be rolled and they have to order a new window as a fix. Going to be at least a week.

I brought it home (in the rain) and will look at taping up that area somehow so it doesn't look too bad (white with black top). I'm kind of disappointed for something in this price range but keep telling myself it is a Jeep.

Exactly what was said about mine. The seal was rolled. Glad theyā€™re immediately getting a new rear window. They tried to fix mine and it leaked worse. Then they messed up the paint replacing the rear window. The clearcoat job to repair that was even worse. Make sure to stay on them until itā€™s perfect.

this was easily 3 weeks without the vehicle for me.

I'm not giving it up to them until the glass comes in. It also needs to be aligned and I've got leather on order. It's be nice to hand it over for a few days and get everything done but it will most likely be two separate trips.

Yeah man if you want to get a lift, tires, etc done by the dealer then now is the time lol. I had to wait for the glass people and then the paint people. Big hassle. Still love my truck though

I have noticed a few drops now and then. Being a longtime Jeeper, I know most all removable tops leak. But, last night the JT was left out in a heavy storm, instead of being garaged, and the rear area is soaked. It is leaking all across the top of the window, wet under the black trim all across. I'm afraid the speaker could be damaged if not repaired. Given my schedule, it will be a couple weeks before I can take it in for repair. I''ll follow up. Thx
