Just a suggestion but if it was me and I'm strongly considering swapping to the rough country 3.5 lift, I'd pass on the shocks and just get the kit without the shocks. Didn't realize until I looked back at it that they have a option to not purchase the shocks. That's the only complaint I have from Rough Country kits are their shocks are no good.

I've been running the spacer lift with their geo brackets without any problems. 37x12.50 pats. 1 yr and 10k miles later. Plenty off roading. Took a trip from Central FL to West point lake, and N GA twice. Several have complimented on the smooth ride, even recently. I also have a 125 lb basket and 100 lb winch setup in the rear. Just hauled an additional 300 lb of gravel over weekend, no issue if one knows how to drive.

Only issue is surface rust, but that's expected due to off road. I went with spacer lift since its a sport s max tow. Retain most of rated capacity. I have since adder a 3/4 poly spacer to the rear to help the sag from added weight.

I used to hear negatively of RC in the past, but they have since stepped up their game. Do I think they are the best, no. But for a budget lift, their setup has been more than satisfactory.

Update, 5 months later :)

Received my suspension then developed rear leaking axle at 1800 miles. Was in shop for a few weeks. A bandaid repair didn't fix it so entire rear Axle was replaced. Jeep was in shop for a month after that.

M/T tires showed up 3 months later ?

Time to have some fun.

Just a bit of added info….After 2k miles on my RC 3.5 coil lift I put on the geo brackets and am amazed by the difference. The front wheels pushed forward just about 1.25” but it make a tremendous difference in how the JT soaks up the bumps in the road

Newbie question - on the front N3 shock direction. I'm doing this install next week and I skimmed the directions and want to make sure shocks are correct direction.

Instructions say "eyelet should be offset to outside of vehicle."

I am assuming the metal tube is a "sleeve" and should point TOWARDS the vehicle, and black rubber part is eyelet mount and should face outside?

TIA

Update. Lift installed! Overall went smoothly and was pretty fun assembling. It took me awhile because I didn't have power tools or a nice jack - ran to HF to get a real 3 ton floor jack halfway through instead of using my flimsy scissor jack and tiny 2 ton trolley jack....should have done that from the start.

It rides smooth. I would say ride is similar, but slightly better than stock. The shocks are a definite upgrade from stock. I'm going to do an alignment, although on this basic kit I know the only adjustable measure is the toe angle, I want to make sure tires wear evenly. Cheers

Can you grab some measurements from ground to the top of the bed and ground to the bottom of the side step right in the middle of the truck for me. I would really appreciate it

Looks great. You may have just sold me on getting the kit with the springs. I guess I’ll sell my Max Tow springs to someone eventually. It’s not like I have anything to tow anyway.

I am running 3.73 gears. I thought for sure I'd have to regear, but the power loss seems pretty minimal. These Kanati tires are light for a 37 though, 69lbs a piece.

I am getting an alignment this week to correct toe. I will see how far off caster is, but seems to ride pretty well.

I’m running 37’s as well but have 4.10’s. Highway gas mileage is greatly improved by manually shifting through the upper gears. The JT seems to want to stay in 6th or 7th gear too much when 8th is definitely a viable cruising gear.

Looks great!!! I may end up going 4" on mine now if I decide to lift it more. Your gonna love those Kanati Trail Hogs, mine have been outstanding. I have 4.10 gears on my Max Tow and it does great, I have no problem staying in 7th and 8th gear and averaging 17+ Mpgs.

Thank you! I have the Mud Hogs M/T on mine. Thankfully not as loud as I thought they'd be on road...but wouldn't exactly call them quiet Lol

I hear ya. The Trail Hogs are quiet. They are pretty aggressive for a Hybrid A/T. I've been real pleased with them. I'm sold pretty much on getting another set after these wear out. Wish they made them in a 38

Nice pic!

Have you been on the highway yet? Mine with 3.73 and 35s only sees 8th downhill.
