Good afternoon JT Jeeple,

Please don't roast me as I've already tried searching for this info...
I just picked up a Rubicon TakeOff suspension from a '23 JTR with the Red Shocks. I've read in several places that they actually exceed the Fox shocks. Time will tell.
So my query is: I have Different Part numbers than what I can find online and Mopar isn't any help either.
Can someone please help? I'm planning to install on Monday.

What I got:

Springs:
58606211AA
58606212AA
68506362AA
68506363AA

RubiRed Shocks
Each pair is matching with 3 part numbers on each
327AB
63816M
68599327AB

328AA
63816M
685993228AA

I just need to know which things go in which places.

Thanks in advance
Schneikeys2

I went to that site also, If you look carefully it says Right in one spot and left in another. Clear as Mud...
I think the fronts are universal and rear are universal, there is no right or left, just front and rear.

No, there's a left and right. On a gasser, the higher number (higher rate) goes on the right side.
You can't go by part number because the right front on one Overland, just for example, could be the left front on another. You have to compare the pairs.

The "lift" you may get will vary from 3/4" to 1 1/4" depending on the weight of your truck and the rate of the Rubicon springs you get. There's no such thing as just "Rubicon springs" because those springs under a Rubicon could vary from Rubicon to Rubicon. This is discussed at great length in a few areas here.
Someone with a light truck using the higher numbered Rubicon springs will be getting more "lift" than someone with a heavier truck and using the lower numbered Rubicon springs.
I got almost 1" on my 2020 Overland when I had it. Others got more, some got less.
The springs vary with the equipment and weight of the truck. I've seen 3 different part numbers for the 2020 and 2021 Rubicon front springs.

Given the numbers above - use the spring with the higher part number for that pair on the right, the spring with the lower part number for that particular pair on the left.
And you can't mix up front and rear springs - pretty easy once you get into it.

Do not look up springs online - it will only confuse. Go by the specific pair you received and put the higher number of the front pair on the right side, the higher number of the rear pair on the right side.
Another truck may have that high number as the low one in its pairs.

I’m hoping for a 1” lift from the takeoffs and another 1.5” from a teraflex leveling kit that’s also going on.

I would lean more on the conservative side of your expectations of the added lift you are expecting of putting on the Rubicon suspension.

Also, if you have never dealt with spacer lifts before, you may not like it when said and done. Many people to include me have done what you are doing and wished we had just done a proper suspension lift like the 2" MOPAR one or similar from the get go because the labor would have been the same.

If you add a bumper and winch , you will probably be reevaluating your setup.

Thanks Hootbro. This is only a stepping stone until I can afford a real lift and 35’s.

You are talking about me, right? LOL - 2nd set of front springs on this JT after having the Rubicon front springs under the 2020 (although they were two of the lighter Rubicon spring rates)
Heck, I still look at it once in a while and wonder............. hmmm, maybe 3" springs?

Yeah, it was one of those intermediate steps for me, too - sort of glad I did it that way as I ended up trading the 2020 for this 2022 and had to put it all back to stock.
My wife says - that's it, it's the last Jeep you'll buy (HAHA, heard that before after she traded a 2018 for a 2021 and then the 2021 for a 2023)
Now I figure to be more aggressive in things as I'm stuck with this one for a while after draining the accounts for her new Jeep this last January.
It will be a cheap way for you to learn and get your feet wet if you are newer to suspension, too.
Now you know more about the spring numbers and rates and so on - keep building on that knowledge.

Me, you and probably a few hundred other members here that have done the same.

Unlike the JK Wranglers that putting on a Rubicon take off suspension that was easily a predictable 1.5" at least lift to non Rubicon models, the JL and JT do not seem to benefit nearly as much and is a wash sometimes.
