Got the front lower control arm axle side skid plates from Rock Hard install. They are side specific. The hook goes to the outside, toward tire. The driver side went on with no problems. The passenger side had issues. I had to notch the skid plate for the FAD to clear the nut. Plus I painted them with Plastic Dip Red.

The White Knuckle sliders are on. These things are beefy, and heavy. Took a while to put them on.

Today, I opened up the hood vents. Took all of 30 minutes. Used a 4" cut-off wheel on a die grinder and a small air powered belt sander. Still have to get a roll of silver HVAC tape to seal out the edges of the underhood insulation.

Had a fun time looking for the aux wires under the hood. Read a bunch of posts on where they should be. LOL
1st pic is where most say where the wires should be.
2nd pic is next to the firewall and battery.
3rd pic is a wire bundle with electrical tape on it. Hmmm
4th pic. I cut the tape and used a spring hook tool to pull the wires up. And Bingo, found them.

There is 3 or 4 places you have to drill if you want to. They give you the option to do it, and supply the self-taping bolts too.

Are the front springs you are using from Clayton the same as the .5" lift JT ones they have listed on their website? They are sku: 1509150 and are 18" with 160 spring rate or are the ones you are using a higher spring rate than that?

Thanks!!

awesome, thanks for the response. They look great on your JT and seem to fit what I'm hoping for, which is mostly stock ride height with some much needed firmness up front. Really interested to see how the TSB suspension fix goes with these as well.
