Hey guys, looking for some help and/or suggestions! To start, I just moved from a 2018 JLUR to a 2021 JTR. I am 6'2", 215. I feel like my proportions are pretty even, I wear a 33 length so I'm not all legs. In my JL I had the seat all the way at the furthest detent as a far as leg room and kept the height adjustment about dead in the middle. I have had hip surgery in the past year, but my JLUR was still very comfortable for long road trips, which I take frequently. The JT seating position seems to be significantly different in terms of the height the seat is mounted as well the amount of rearward travel of the front seat for leg room. I am guessing this is because the body tub is different than the JL and they had to mount the front seat differently to keep leg room for the rear? If I sit where I am not staring 50% at the sun visors, the seat has to be at the lowest position and my knees are up above the level of my hips which causes significant discomfort. If I move the seat up height-wise so that my knees are at least even with my hips, I am not only staring at the windshield header and craning my neck to see stop lights, but I am closer to the wheel as the height adjustor in the JT seat moves the seat up and forward instead of just up. I have looked into Misch big boy seat brackets and aftermarket seats. I am just not sure what would help with making the seating position more comfortable. The brackets seem like they would definitely help with giving me a little more leg room, but then my head will be really close to the sound bar and I have read that the brackets mount the seat higher. Not sure if anyone has experience with any aftermarket seats that may help. I appreciate any feedback.

Thanks, this is my first forum and I found this thread just after posting mine. Should I delete mine to cut down clutter?
