Put a little plywood under the back 2 bolts of the seat frame (or front depending on tilt direction) and you'll be fine.

Plywood answers all.
I was going to respond that there are riser kits (spacers and bolts) available to adjust the tilt, but plywood always wins. Forget I replied...

I have yet to find a kit that adjusts tilt. I have found plenty that raise the seat, or that push it farther back for tall drivers, but nothing that's designed to increase the tilt to a comfortable level.

if you raise just the back or just the front, wouldn't that be tilt?

Previous replies are correct. Seats are 100% the same as JL.
Karnaj makes an interesting point, though silly at 1st read . . . Owners who are uncomfortable with the SEAT angle possibly COULD raise the Front or Rear by using the "Washer system," or place these "spacers" under all 4 and raise the height !
ANYONE currently with a JL can easily Check This Out and get back to the Thread with a Yea or Nay ! :like:
edit/ps; the NO FOOT REST for the left foot IS TROUBLING -- also check your JL's for THAT Too, Please and report back . . . thanks for ALL of us ! This would be a TERRIBLE OVERSIGHT by JEEP !

In theory, yes. But the makers of those kits say it won't work like that. I've already asked them.

I'm thinking about trying to fab something up myself. The problem is, the "feet" on the front of the seat track aren't identical. They mount to the tub in different orientations. So it may not be as easy as just tossing some washers in there. Might be a spring project for me...

If you have the automatic trans, there are aftermarket dead pedals you can install for left foot comfort. I have the one by M.O.R.E. (Mountain Off-Road Enterprises) and it's a PITA to install, but it works really great.

To adjust the tilt, you would only use half the kit. I had a buddy with a metal shop punch out some custom spacers for the front legs of my JK and it was a huuuuge improvement. If you do too much lift, you may need longer (grade 8 or better) bolts.

Now that many of you have had your JTs for some time and have logged some miles how do you feel about the seat bottom positioning and lack of tilt?

I now have 5200 miles with 2-1000+ mile trips and two long weekends with many hours behind the wheel driving 3+ hours on the highway to a 3+ hour 4x4 adventure. I feel the seat bottom is tilted too far back away from the dash (opposite of what was observed by many in the JL forum https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/update-driver-seat-bottom-seat-tilt-angle.16771/) . I find that now I am pinching nerves in my legs and am suffering from a fair bit of nerve pain in my right leg. I am going to investigate adding shims to the back of the seat mounts to bring my seat to a more neutral forward position. Several of the JL owners have done a similar shim job to tilt their seats back more.

I drove mine on a 7-hour trip home, and have found the seat quite comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that it has a lumbar adjustment, with firm back support. My JKs had terrible back support.

It's my #1 gripe with the JL/JT. The JK was already running on the small side. WHY would they make the JL/JT even smaller by shaving off 1.7" of hip room? Why would they decrease passenger volume? And why would they make the seat cushion flat, hard, short, and without a tilt adjustment on a vehicle in this price range?? UGH.

What I ended up doing is I raised the front of the seat about 1/2" using washers under the bracket mounting locations. That tilted it back just a hair and it isn't where it should be now but at least it's better than it was.

The other thing that's frustrating is that if you pump the seat upward with the handle, it causes the seat to tilt forward even farther as it goes up. By the time you're half way up, it feels like it's going to dump you out of the seat.

Just an awful, awful design. I think the smaller the driver is, the more comfortable they'll be in these JL/JT models.

This is my biggest and only thing I hate about my JT...I'm 6'5 270lbs and I need the seat to go down much further than it does ...my head leaning back hits the speaker cross bar and sitting straight my eye level looks at the roof...would a washer tilt help? What else can I do?? Any aftermarket seats potentially out there? I generally have problems with most cars but it's very uncomfortable for a guy my size! Looking like hell for a solution

Any safety concerns with this solution, or did you buy longer bolts?

I just watched Matt Maran's video and the Overland cloth seat looked very different from my JL seat. Appeared to have a lot more foam for comfort.

Now I'm curious....
As am I. It'd be nice to see actual part numbers for the seats.

Is there an aftermarket solution for lowering he seat further. I feel like I’m siting on the Jeep, not in it if that makes sense. I think my azz was imported from Brazil
