Do these really help with the steering before I drop 265.00 on one?

I am thinking the steersmarts version so It doesn't require as much maintenance.

If you have the updated steering gear box (2021 models should have it), then I do not think it is needed.

I installed the synergy mfg brace on my 2020 Rubicon Gladiator before having the steering gear TSB done and it helped.

With my 2021 Willys Gladiator with the updated steering gear box, I have not felt the need for getting a sector shaft brace kit for it.

IF you are only driving on the street and have no steering issues, then no it's not needed.

IF you are going to off road and bounce around on heavy trails, it may be needed.

Are you speaking from experience? I’m asking because I have the updated steering gearbox and feel I don’t need it when street driving. However, I do plan on taking my Rubicon off-road once I get my lift in a few weeks. Just curious if I should get the brace for that purpose.
