I have a Willy’s Sport 3.73 gears. I’m running 34 inch tires. 2.5 metal cloak lift. Truck runs fine. I’m just wondering should I regear? Do I need too?

Do you carry extra weight, like a rack with accessories or roof top tent, or a canopy/topper? Is 7/8th gear impossible to reach at highway speed? Then yes, probably.

It will definitely improve livability, especially if you have a manual, but what it comes down to is, is that increase in livability worth the cost of gears and install to you? Also, as teamblkdog mentioned, if you aren't getting into 7/8 on the highway with an automatic, it could very well improve your fuel economy.

Only extra weight I carry is camping gear for deer camp, fishing etc. Load up the back with DIY home stuff. Don’t off road much but when I do it is usually light/moderate trails not much of a rock crawler. I hit 7/8 gear no issues on freeway

I have the same setup. Works for me at this stage. I tow and haul materials occasionally. However, I realize the Gladiator with 34” tires is at the tipping point. With any larger tires new gearing will be required.
