Newly released Method 703 "bead Grip" rims. Only one size for the Jeep - 0 offset, hub centric, 17x8.5. The center cap has a mountain range on it to identify the "Bead Grip". 37x12.5x17 Goodyear MTRs Kevlars mounted on the wheels. A nice light combo with really low air pressure capabilities. With the 5:13 gears it moves out real good.

Nice JT! How do the steps do in preventing dirt/mud from getting all along the side of the body with the wider tires?

It helps a little but the wheels and tires stick out past the mud guards and side steps

My next choice for wheels - I am already a true believer of those 37 inch MTR/Ks and and have them on my JTR and JKURX.

I posted this somewhere else, but this thread was great to help me make a decision. These are Black Rhino Stadiums, -18 with 315/70-17. 1.5” front, .75” rear lift

Well its show and tell time. Let's parade some of those wheel upgrades.

I dont have anything to show yet as my Glad is due early December. So I have some time to make a decision. Maybe I will get some ideas from some of your choices.

So far I like these. But dont know how much of a headache the cleaning process would be. Another thing I'm pondering is how it would affect the heat dispersion of the brakes. Any thoughts?

Well, its show time.

Keep in mind-- looks are great, but consider weight also (with tires too)...

I would like to know if there are any "real world" comments re. the "bead grip rims" and their ability to hold in low pressure situations.

Consider the 701 (in my profile pic)... very similar design but 9" wide vs 8.5".
How's the poke? I'd prefer not to have too much sticking out. What lug nuts did you go with?

I have only had them down to 18 lbs. so far. The tires grip like glue. No need for anything more yet.

Before I ordered the wheels, I talked to a nice guy who worked at Method. I was considering the lighter 313s over the bead grip 703s, but, he spent the time to convince me even though the 313s are more money. He told me he has the bead grips on his side by side, and they hit a big tree root at speed in the dunes. When they checked the rig, the only thing they could find is that the tire had lost two lbs... It went down from 8 lbs to 6 lbs. Evidently, the hit was hard enough to only burp the tire, but, not unseat it. He chalked up that result to the bead grip technology. Sounded pretty good to me.

Note: When they mounted my Goodyear MTRs (37"), they first mounted on the internal bead. It took significant air pressure to make the tires pop out to the outside bead. I have never seen anything like that before, and I took it as a very good sign of what the wheels can do.

Here is a pic of the inside of the wheel that I took before mounting.
