Interesting for me to see a Tab 400 behind the Gladiator.
Looks larger than expected but maybe that's just the shooting perspective.

The front of the motor on this fella is about even with my knees, so (I hope) a full frontal collision wouldn't be too bad...

That said, this was a deer strike, same coach, a few years back.
Over $26k in damage.

A significant other with gastrointestinal issues precludes a trailer for us.

Having just gone through some significant GI issues in the past couple of years myself, I can empathize completely. Were it not for my ‘04 Airstream Interstate b-van, I’d have not been able to leave home much at all. Fortunately that has resolved, but I understand the problem well.

its a night and day difference between when I have the WDH hooked up and when I remove it for the trail. I just need the Airbags to make it not sag so much for the trail. I have them on my Wrangler and they worked great. Looks like you have a nice setup, thanks for you input.

Did they require any additional spacers for proper fitment? or are the included parts in the kit adequate?

The T@B400 is a great camper and definitely bigger than you think if you see it on it's own.

I'm 6ft and I can stand upright in about the middle 3rd of the camper without brushing the ceiling at all. It feels VERY solidly built (a friend of ours, when we showed them the interior of ours, complimented the cabinetry. And he builds cabinetry for a living.)

We tow ours (Sport S w/tow package) without a weight distributing hitch and it's been fine.

I had that same boat for awhile, towed it with my WK2. The boat is aluminum and weighs like 900lbs total, and barely gets to a ton with trailer included. Are you carrying 1500lbs of gear with you? 3500 is a ton of weight for a 17’ aluminum boat!

Dry weight is 1010lbs approx. With trailer….it’s 2,300lbs approx. Full tank of gas, fluids,, all your gear… You could come close to 3,000lbs. I just rounded up to 3,500lb. I think we actually took it to a weigh station at one point, and it was over 3,000lbs fully loaded. 2017 Bass Tracker 17.5’ TXW

2023 Casita. Had a 2004 Casita, upgraded to a 2023. Moab every year, the Gladiator does great job.

I have a micro minni FLX 2306BHS weight around 5300# as i pull. WD hitch , rear bags and 1.5” spacer in front for bumper/winch weight. Added 2.5 Fox elite performance adjustable shocks to get the best ride towing and not. It does awesome .

Had this camper with my 1st Gladiator 3” franken lift Rock Krawler, Clayton, and king shocks, gears 5.13 camper weight was 5000# on 37” Nitto trail grapplers. It pulled really well.

I started with my 2020 JT Rubicon on 35" tires and a Winnebago Micro Mini 2106DS, running at about 4000#. I did not like it and felt that my Jeep didn't like it either. Was getting about 9mpg and seemed like it struggled on any little hill. I don't know how you that pull equivalent or even more put up with it. More power to you though.

I upgraded the Jeep to a 23 Mojave and downgraded the camper to a 23 Aliner Scout, running less than 2000#. I have been a tent camper my whole life so this feels perfect for me. The Micro Mini was to big. The Aliner is on that area of almost a tent, but with a/c and heat, hard sided, running water and the ability to stand up and walk around. I will probably sell my tent.

I'm looking at the Aliners very closely. It checks all of our boxes but my main concern is, how has it held up? The 12' models are just the right size for my wife and I, light weight, fresh water tank but no black water, stores in the garage, and enough room for me to stand up in.
