Excellent!

This is actually what I was searching for before ordering my lift.

I've also got the Bilstein on order. Actually planned on ordering it from a sponsor, but had my local dealership arrange a swap with one of their fox crates with another dealership, and as part of the deal, they wound up cutting a chunk off of the deal, too, to the point I'm just right at $1800 in for the entire kit.

New tires arrived today, and the lift is due to show up next week as well.. so next Friday is likely going to be an install date.

I was worried about the overall look, but you've successfully alleviated my fears on that.. thank you :)

What would you say the difference in size between your Rubicon, with that kit and the 35s is, vs stock?

(Care to measure at front passenger fender, and I'll compare to my own measurements? Wife is super worried about it being too tall for her.. lol)

Sure Iā€™ll measure when Iā€™m back home but Iā€™d say thereā€™s about a ballpark 5ā€ total lift ā€¦. Rides WAY better than stock

That looks very nice and real similar to the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Departure Conceptā€˜s Bilstein installation I filmed in the link below at the recent N.A.I. Detroit Auto Show. I tried to highlight as many of the accessories as I could as best I could, but it was sectioned off; and to be honest, Iā€™m still clumsily learning producing videos, but itā€™s been fun!

If you click on my videos tab I have a few other Jeep related ones and working to post up more.

Enjoy!
Thanks for posting your video.
i really like that grill guard! Fell in love the first time I saw it on the the green concept wrangler in Moab at the Easter Jamboree. Could care less about the fold down park bench move it makes. I finally picked up some 2ā€ OD .065 wall tubing to fab one up. So itā€™s time to break out the bender and welder and take a shot at it. Iā€™m still looking for some correct size OD tubing to slug the halo tube. Iā€˜m still working out on how to mount it to my bumper, so itā€™s removable, in case of repairs required down the road. Iā€™m now convinced (thanks to your video) that this product will not be released by Jeep as an accessory because of the massive hinges to make it fold down to sit on, and the huge holes in the bumper to accommodate those hinges and lock pins. I could be mistaken on my prediction if Jeep changes the design of attachment to a bolt on fit a steel Rubi bumper, or offer it up as a complete package (new bumper and grill guard) Iā€™ll send some pics on my fab progress.

Hey guys,

Im posting this because I did extensive research (or atleast I think so) on the new mopar lift before buying but I couldnā€™t find sh!t. I ended up buying it anyway and got it installed yesterday. There are no instructions for installation but it is pretty straight forward except for the reservoir mounts which came with a wierd nut that neither I nor the techs could figure out how to install (Iā€™m a service advisor) long story short, here are pics. Shocks are much stiffer than the tenneco ones my 2023 rubicon came with. This provides for a less wobbly drive. I am also running Nitto trail grapplers 35x11.5 on stock wheels. I feel like it needs more tire, yet I already had a sport with 3.73s and wide 35 and that thing was a dog, I donā€™t want to hinder my jeeps road performance. Here are some pics

My rubicon has 4.10 gears and I run 35x12.5 and it runs great...not a dog at all.

Looking good ! From the closeup of the wheel/front end, it looks like the "rake" is the same as the previous Mopar lift... hard to tell from the pics... so do think there is a difference in the rake between the two lifts ?

Looks good!

2" Lift with +2" tires, should be about 4". If the shocks are stiff or haven't settled, maybe a bit more.

Did you order the resi cables to be that long, or that's how they came?
Did they come with the kit?

On my previous jeep I had a 4inch ready lift so I wouldnā€™t know how the previous mopar lift performed ā€¦ I am very happy with it tho, bilsteins are much more comfortable than the falcons I had

Are the rear shocks piggy back style? I really thought theyā€™d go with these on the 24 Mojaveā€™s since they did away with the Fox on the Rubicons and the lift kits.

Just got the instructions for the lift and it looks like you installed it per the directions. Odd that the hose that long and vulnerable like that. Something to keep in mind while wheeling, I guess.

Didnā€™t I read that the new lift was basically the AEV lift?
If so, I recently installed the AEV lift on my Rubicon with the help of @Raider2 and it improved the handling of the truck tremendously both on and off-road.

Hereā€™s a picture of mine with the original 33ā€ tires and my usual load outā€¦I am getting 35ā€™s shortly

I had a Bilstein system on my 2015 Tacoma and it was great. I'm sure the Jeep version is valved differently, but it was a great system off-road.
