Would you buy it? My wife was looking at the JLUR Recon edition and she wanted the sky one touch power top so that got me thinking about it for the JT. The soft top on the JT looks so stupid, in my opinion, and this would be a better looking alternative. Also, we moved from North Carolina to Iowa recently and the use/lack of use, regarding top off/on is striking. In NC, it seemed as if most Jeeps had the top on whereas we rarely see a top on in Iowa if the weather is even remotely decent. Now that we're in Iowa, this would be a good way for her to go topless easily. Yeah, yeah insert your joke accordingly!

Not sure why they don't have this yet. I did just install the Bestop Sunrider this past weekend though and love how convenient that is compared to the Freedom panels. Flipped it off at a red light yesterday which I found pretty sweet. Couldn't have done that before!

My Jeep-snobitis says "soft top/hard top/no top only", but when I really consider how I would use the JT, I think this would be a nice option.

If you could still remove the rear window and mount a rack, I'd seriously consider it.

Yes I would have ordered this if it were an option. When I was at the dealership two weeks ago ordering my Gladiator, a sales person showed my wife a wrangler with the one touch and three days later she is trading in her Mini convertible for a Wranger Sahara with the One Touch top.

That’s an interesting observation, I just left NC after living there for over 20 years and during the summer at least it was pretty much no doors and bikini tops only. Honestly wouldn’t want the sky view on a JT. I like to pop the back window off and go safari. with or without the doors. Don here it was too hot to go topless in the summer but I’ll probably take the back window out in a coupe weeks and leave it off till next summer. I would say a electric up down back window like a Tundra but wouldn’t want to give up my subwoofer for it.

Plus isn't that top modular, as in the side and rear windows come out on the JL? How great would it be to be able to remove the rear window on the JT, then slide the entire top back. Sign me up.

Not sure it would work on a JT. The JL has a space behind the rear seat for it to nest in when open, On a JT the same top would leave a lot of the rear seat still covered. But maybe a slightly different design would work.

If I ever get a Wrangler someday that is on my list.

I couldn't agree more about the sunrider. It is so fast and easy, and it looks Jeepy if that's a word. I don't think the Sky One Touch thing looks very Jeepy.

I know somebody who has a JL with one and he loves it though. The thing is I can't even tell it's open looking from outside the Jeep, and that just doesn't seem right to me. All I know is he loves it.

My fiancé has it on her JL. It’s fantastic. I would seriously consider it on a JT.

Isn't it not appearing open a positive?

If you remove the two rear panels you get that jeep open air look. The panels remove just like hard tops in the gladiators. Takes about 20 seconds each panel.

It would be great if someone made a hardtop front piece that could fold back and rest on the back of the top as if it were hinged and could be locked in place. Or a completely modular top, with pieces that could come off indecently would be great too.
