Has anyone ever plowed with their Gladiator? If so what did you think? I am thinking of getting myself a plow for the winter but am not sure in which direction to go.

Plowed with my rubicon last winter and I was truly impressed. I have used a lot of trucks in the past: f150/250 and GMC. I found a smaller plow, sized for the jeep did a better job for my driveway.Has anyone ever plowed with their Gladiator? If so what did you think? what front hitch did you use on your JTR? Any interference issues with the install?I use a floater with front hitch mount. No connections or hydraulics. $1800 OTD and it weighs only 100# when transporting.![]()
It’s a SnowSport plow built in North Dakota and they sell front hitches specifically for the Rubicon. The link with videos attached. Price two years ago included the receiver. I love that it’s light!what front hitch did you use on your JTR? Any interference issues with the install?
Link aboveDo you have any info on that plow? Where can I find one?
Exactly.. Doesn’t tear up my lawn. Can be used in the back receiver as well or switch to another vehicle. Less stress on the suspensionSo, that 'floater', it runs up and down the verticals? When not in use, you hang it on top of them for transporting?
I have plowed for 30 years and never saw anything quite like that for a truck.
I bought a used one 10 years ago, been on three rams and will be on my gladiator this fall. Saves the back from shoveling and the yard from hired plows. Great tool!I’ve had a SnowSport plow for 23 years! Same mount, same plow! How many other plows are out there still being used after that long? It’s been used on 6 different vehicles and friends borrow it all the time. Back in the day I paid $750 for it brand new. Best investment ever! Will be adding a front receiver to the Gladiator before the first flake falls. Come to think of it, I’m off to etrailer to order a KURT front receiver right now.
